On the Roblox desktop site, open the Settings gear, choose Help and Safety, then select Account Status. You can also go straight to roblox.com/safety-dashboard. Both routes require you to sign in.
The dashboard separates your overall moderation standing from recent actions and general safety tips. A missing card, blank dashboard, or empty violations list does not prove that an account is clean, warned, or banned.
How to open Account Status on Roblox
Use the current desktop navigation path first:
- Sign in to the Roblox account you want to check.
- Select the Settings gear near the top-right corner.
- Open Help and Safety.
- Select the Account Status card labeled for status, violations, and appeals.
The direct Account Status link reaches the same signed-in area. Save that route if the menu moves while Roblox continues adjusting the feature.
If Roblox sends you to login
Sign in to the intended account in that browser, then reopen the dashboard link. The Roblox app and a separate browser may not share the same login session, so being signed in to one does not always sign you in to the other.
A login screen only means that browser needs a valid session. It says nothing about moderation standing.
If the card is missing or the dashboard stays blank
Account Status availability is still uneven, and Roblox has not published a universal rollout schedule. A missing card, redirect, unavailable panel, or blank signed-in view cannot confirm any account state.
If you already received a moderation notice, check Violations and Appeals directly. Use Roblox Support for an action that does not appear there. Clearing a cache, reinstalling Roblox, changing devices, or using a VPN does not change moderation standing.
The meter, violations, timeouts, and tips mean different things
The live dashboard can include an Account status meter, Recent violations, and Community tips. Accounts with an active restriction may also show Current timeouts. Each area has a different job, so reading one as if it explains everything creates more fog than light.

Roblox's on-page explanation says violations add up, and more severe or repeated rule-breaking can move an account toward a permanent ban. It also says following the Community Guidelines can improve status with time. Roblox publishes no timetable, segment threshold, expiry period, or guaranteed movement schedule.
Roblox's broader moderation guidance adds that consequences depend on severity, impact, the specific violation, account history, and repetition. Reviews can use automated systems, human review, or both. Warning, timeout, and suspension are examples of consequences with increasing severity, not a fixed ladder every account follows.
A poor meter with no recent violation is not enough to diagnose the cause
The meter summarizes standing, while the other section is specifically called Recent violations. Roblox does not publish the history window or meter formula, so a mismatch cannot prove a hidden strike, expired violation, display bug, or upcoming ban.
Open Violations and Appeals if you know an action occurred. If that action is missing, use Support rather than guessing from the meter.
An empty Recent violations area is not a lifetime certificate
The clean empty state says there are no recent violations to show. It also points players to Support for an action that is not listed. That wording is useful, but narrower than saying the account has never received moderation.
A violation card may open more detail and show an appeal result. Appeal accepted means the appeal for that specific action succeeded. It does not prove that every other action changed or that the whole meter must move immediately.
Community tips are general education
Community tips open short explanations of Roblox safety rules, such as keeping conversations friendly and avoiding dating behavior. They are general policy reminders. Seeing a tip does not mean Roblox accused the account of that behavior.
Separate platform moderation from other Roblox restrictions
Account Status concerns actions taken by Roblox across the platform. Similar-looking blocks can come from an experience creator, account access settings, identity checks, or privacy controls instead.

An experience creator's ban normally blocks only that creator's experience, while Roblox platform moderation can affect the wider account. Changing content maturity, completing age verification, or hiding online status may solve their own separate problems, but none is a supported way to improve the standing meter.
Appeal the exact action Roblox shows you
Start with the moderation notification. Roblox uses it to tell the account owner whether the action belongs in Violations and Appeals or needs the Support form. The correct route matters more than sending the same story to every inbox.
1. Read the moderation notification
Identify the account or content action, when it happened, and the appeal method Roblox provides. Only the account owner may appeal, so use the affected account and a valid email address attached to it.
2. Use Violations and Appeals when the action appears
Open roblox.com/report-appeals, select the listed violation, and choose the appeal option shown. Explain briefly why the action deserves another review, then monitor that item for the result.
If the item later says Appeal accepted, Roblox approved that specific appeal. An appeal can also be denied, and submitting one never guarantees reversal.
3. Use Support when the action is not shown
Choose the Support option for appealing something not displayed in Violations and Appeals, or open the Roblox Support form. Do not treat a missing item as proof that the moderation action did not happen.
For an account appeal, include the username and a short reason the action should be reviewed.
For a content appeal, include the username, a short reason, the asset ID, and a link to the affected Roblox content. Missing identifiers make it harder to connect the appeal to the right action.
4. Send the first appeal before the deadline
The standard deadline is 30 days from the moderation action. Users in the European Union have up to six months to appeal an initial moderation action.
Keep the explanation factual. State what happened, why the decision may be wrong, and any context that directly helps the review. Once Roblox has reviewed an action, it does not review duplicate appeals for that same action.
Actions that do not change standing
- Repeatedly opening or refreshing Account Status
- Clearing the Roblox cache or reinstalling the app
- Switching devices or using a VPN
- Buying an extension or account add-on
- Completing age verification only to move the meter
- Sending duplicate appeals after a review
Normal, rule-following use is not something to fear. Follow the Roblox Community Standards, appeal a specific mistake through its assigned route, and leave invented countdowns to the rumor mill.
