When the Blackhole Egg announcement appears in Ride A Pet, waiting at one spot is usually a losing strategy. The egg can be tucked into a tree-top room, hidden behind a waterfall, sitting on a cliff, or buried in a Pyramid Maze corner. Start moving as soon as the notification appears, use your fastest flying pet, and sweep the landmarks below before another player gets there first.
These are reported search areas rather than guaranteed coordinates. Blackhole Eggs and Cherub Eggs are reported to use the same route, so learning these landmarks helps with either rare spawn.
Where Do Blackhole Eggs Spawn in Ride A Pet?
The rare-spawn message appears at the top of the screen for the server. When you see it, use this practical sweep:
- Ride to the Giant Tree behind the Sell Shop and check its top room or hole and the upper and lower branches.
- Follow the river from the Track Shop to the waterfall cave, then inspect the cliffs around the cave exit.
- Move toward the Forest–Desert edge and check the beach-side cliff spots near the campfire and three green tents.
- Finish in the Desert by checking the Pyramid opening and the Maze entered through the pond beside it.
Search every part of the landmark, including hidden corners and upper surfaces. A spot may already be empty if another player reached it first.
Giant Tree Blackhole Egg Locations in Ride A Pet
From the central plot, go behind the Sell Shop and travel toward the Giant Tree. Once you reach it, use a flying pet to climb instead of checking only the ground around the trunk.
Start with the small room, cabin, or hole near the top of the tree. Then circle the upper and lower branches and check the spaces inside the tree as you descend. The branches are easy to miss when you look only at the room, while the room is easy to miss if you stay at ground level.

Waterfall Cave and Cave-Exit Blackhole Egg Locations
Go behind the Track Shop and follow the river upstream. Pass the smaller waterfalls until you reach the waterfall near a bridge, then fly or ride through it to enter the cave. Check the interior sides and hidden corners before leaving.

The cave exit needs its own sweep. After moving through the cave, climb out and check the cliffs on both sides of the opening, the area behind the exit, and the nearby tree and stone-wall area. If the cave interior is empty, check these outside cliffs before leaving the area.
Forest–Desert Cliff Blackhole Egg Location
From the waterfall-cave area, head toward the Forest–Desert edge and use the campfire with three green tents as your landmark. At the beach, check the raised cliff spots on the right side. Sweep both positions before moving on, since the useful target is a cliff group rather than one guaranteed coordinate.

Pyramid and Maze Blackhole Egg Locations in Ride A Pet
The Pyramid is in the Desert on the left side of the map. Enter its small opening and scan the inside rather than circling only the exterior.

After checking the Pyramid, look for the pond immediately to its right and jump into it to enter the Maze. Blackhole Eggs can be hidden in any corner, so use the ladder, torch, and stone structures as navigation markers while you sweep every section. The Maze takes longer to check than the open landmarks, so leave it until the rest of the route is clear when you can.

How to Secure a Blackhole Egg Before It Breaks
Preparation matters more than choosing one supposedly perfect pet. Equip the fastest flying pet you own; flying gives you a wider view and avoids the obstacles and obby sections that slow ground pets. Phoenix is one example, but pet stats can change, so use your own quickest flyer.
You can also buy the Eternal Radar from the Gears Shop for a reported $30,000,000. It is a one-use item that tracks an Ethereal egg such as a Blackhole or Cherub Egg. Treat it as an optional shortcut, not a requirement for the route.
When you find the egg, pick it up and turn directly toward your base. Do not stop to check another landmark or take a detour: carry it home before the visible break warning expires. If a location is empty when you arrive, another player may have claimed the egg already, so continue to the next area instead of repeatedly searching the same surface.
Memorize the landmarks rather than a single pin: Giant Tree, waterfall cave, cave-exit cliffs, Forest–Desert cliffs, Pyramid, and Maze. On the next announcement, hidden corners around the cave exit and inside the Maze are worth checking after other players have cleared the obvious open spots.
