Thunder Breathing in Slayers 2 takes more than finding the trainer. You need to reach Level 25, bring the right materials, climb to Zentaro's mountain location, complete five training objectives in order, and defeat the Thunder Trainee at the end.
Here is the full route, including what each minigame asks you to do and how to confirm that the style unlocked.
Thunder Breathing Requirements in Slayers 2
Prepare these requirements before you make the climb to Thunder Trainer Zentaro:
| Requirement | What to prepare | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Slayer level | Level 25 | Zentaro's Level 25 Thunder option is the training route you need to start. |
| Demon Horns | 10 | The horns are part of the Thunder Breathing material requirement. If you still need them, use the Demon Horns farming guide. |
| Wen | 7,000 Wen | You need this currency when you start the training. |
| Movement skills | Wall Climb and Double Jump | These let you cross the branches, ledges, and cliffs on the way to the summit. They are travel requirements, not an extra payment. |
The level and material requirements are for starting the style training. Wall Climb and Double Jump are what make the mountain approach possible, so unlock both before traveling. If Zentaro's dialogue shows a different cost after a future update, use the live in-game prompt as the final check.
How to Find Thunder Trainer Zentaro in Slayers 2

Thunder Trainer Zentaro is at the top of a mountain in Verdant Cliffs. The route is easy to miss because the trainer is not waiting beside the first shrine or on the lower path.
- Start at the shrine near Windy Path.
- Travel toward the Mother Bear area.
- Continue past Serpent King Obari and into the Wilderness.
- Keep heading toward Verdant Cliffs and look for the mountain approach.
- Use Wall Climb and Double Jump to cross the branches, ledges, and cliff faces until you reach the highest summit.
- Speak to Zentaro at the top and select the Level 25 Thunder Breathing option.
Zentaro is the trainer who starts the route. Do not confuse him with the Thunder Trainee, which is the mini-boss you fight after the training tasks.
Slayers 2 Thunder Breathing Training Tasks
Starting the Thunder option activates five noncombat objectives in this order: Meditation, Cup Training, Push Ups, Aim Training, and Boulder Split. The next task becomes available only after the previous one is complete, so use the active objective marker to move between the training areas.

Meditation and Cup Training in Slayers 2
Meditation: Go to the marked training mat in the wooden mansion at the Butterfly Estate area and interact with it. A moving indicator crosses the timing bar; press or tap when it reaches the highlighted target, then repeat the timing prompt until the progress completes. When the bar finishes, the game advances you to Cup Training.
Cup Training: Move to the next room and interact with the three-cup table. Watch the cup containing the hidden ball or object as the cups shuffle, then select that cup. You need 10 correct selections to clear this objective, and the task has three chances, so follow the marked cup carefully instead of guessing.
Push Ups in Slayers 2
At the marked mat, start Push Ups and follow the timing prompt. Press or tap when the inner ring lines up with the outer ring, repeating the prompt until the progress completes. A completed Push Ups objective activates Aim Training.
Aim Training in Slayers 2
Aim Training is also labeled Target Shooting in the interaction prompt.

Interact with the marked target area and hit the targets as they appear. The exact input can vary by platform, so click, tap, or follow the on-screen prompt until every target required by the objective is cleared. When the target practice finishes, the marker moves to Boulder Split.
Boulder Split in Slayers 2
Find the marked boulder in the training area and interact with it. Follow the on-screen line or point prompt as it appears until the boulder splits. That split is the completion state for the final noncombat objective and unlocks the Thunder Trainee encounter.
How to Defeat the Thunder Trainee and Unlock Thunder Breathing

After Boulder Split, follow the final marker to the Thunder Trainee. If the game lets you set a nearby spawn, do that first, and heal before starting the mini-boss fight so a failed attempt does not send you back across the map.
Defeat the Thunder Trainee to finish the route. Thunder Breathing unlocks after the fight, and you do not need to return to Zentaro for another reward interaction. Open the Skill Tree and look for the Thunder branch to confirm that the style is available.
Once the branch appears, spend your Skill Points there to begin building Thunder Breathing. The unlock guide ends at that point; the style's moves and ranking are separate decisions from learning it.
