The Astraeus Serenade Rod is one of the most exciting and rare rods in Roblox Fisch, added in a big update. To get it, you’ll need to complete a multi-step quest that involves fishing rare items, visiting special locations, and collecting unique materials. It’s a challenge, but the rod’s powerful stats make it worth the effort.
Here’s a quick answer to how you get it:
- Collect three special items: Dusky Thread, Astronomical Fretboard, and Twilight Pegs.
- Gather rare fish and materials like Lunar Scrap Metal and Nova Resin.
- Pay 50,000,000 C$ and trade everything to the Astraeus NPC inside Astraeus’ Void.
Let’s start with the Dusky Thread
To craft the Dusky Thread, visit Merlin on Sunstone Island near her hut (coordinates roughly X: -932, Y: 131, Z: -1109). You’ll need three Radiant Crystals: Celestial, Serene, and Breezed. These come from the Mineshaft/Chasm area, which you can reach by jumping into the sea behind Merlin’s hut (make sure you have Merlin’s Veil from her quests).
Each Radiant Crystal requires fishing with specific rods and mutations:
- Celestial Radiant Crystal: Use the Celestial Rod in the Chasm.
- Serene Radiant Crystal: Use the Polaris Serenade Rod with the Serene mutation.
- Breezed Radiant Crystal: Use the Wind Elemental Rod with the Breezed mutation.
Once you have all three crystals, trade them to Merlin to get the Dusky Thread.
Next, find the Astronomical Fretboard on Cursed Isle
Head to Cursed Isle during Spring or Autumn, and wait for a foggy night near the end of the night cycle. You can use a Sundial or Smokescreen Totem to speed up time or change weather.
Look for the Shadow Dirt Pile outside the abandoned Great Dreamers Rod cabin. To complete this step, you need to place three items in order into the dirt:
- Resin
- Driftwood
- Molten Ripple
Here’s where to find these:
- Resin: Fish at Mushgrove Swamp anytime.
- Driftwood: A common trash item caught with a Training Rod and Magnet Bait, often farmed in open ocean or places like Sunstone Crate Cave.
- Molten Ripple: Found at Roslit Volcano or Roslit Bay during Windy weather in Summer daytime, using Luminous Larva bait.
Completing this will reward you with the Astronomical Fretboard.
Then, get the Twilight Pegs from the White Ghost
On a natural windy night (not caused by totems), go to the highest peak of Northern Expedition (around 20105, 1215, 5400). Hold a Heavenly Flying Fish to summon the White Ghost spirit.
Give the ghost a Blessed Moonwood, and it will give you the Twilight Pegs.
To get the Heavenly Flying Fish, fish at night in the open ocean using the Heaven's Rod with Minnow bait. Blessed Moonwood can be caught at Snowcap Island using the Seraphic Rod.
Enter Astraeus’ Void and start the final quest
Go to the Underground Music Venue and activate a Starfall Totem. This totem can randomly appear when using rods like Cosmos or Cerulean Fang. When the Starfall event starts, interact with the Guitar, Drum, and Microphone in any order to teleport to Astraeus’ Void.
Talk to the Astraeus NPC to begin the last quest. You’ll need to trade all your collected items plus some rare fish and pay 50,000,000 C$.
What else do you need to trade?
- Dusky Thread
- Twilight Pegs
- Astronomical Fretboard
- Lunar Scrap Metal
- Nova Resin
- 1 Breezed Bloop Fish
- 1 Celestial Colossal Ethereal Dragon
- 1 Serene Profane Leviathan
Catch the rare fish using the right rods and conditions:
- Lunar Scrap Metal: Fish in the Chasm/Mineshaft area using rods with Lunar mutations.
- Nova Resin: Get it from Nova-mutated fish during starry or night conditions at high-end spots like the open ocean with the Cosmos Rod.
What makes the Astraeus Serenade Rod special?
This rod has incredible stats:
- 100% lure speed
- 400% luck for better rare catches
- Control of 0.2
- 20% resilience (which means it reels a bit slowly)
- 50% progress speed boost
- Infinite max kg
Its passive ability activates every 2.5 seconds with chances to push your progress bar forward or instantly complete it, making tough catches easier. It also unlocks Astraeus, Blessed, Celestial, and Nova mutations.
Because of its low resilience, it’s smart to use enchantments that boost control and resilience.
Best enchantments to use with Astraeus Serenade Rod
Here are some top enchantments to make your rod even better:
- Resilient: Adds 35% resilience and 10% size.
- Controlled: Adds 0.15 control.
- Herculean: Adds 25,000 max kg, 0.2 control, and 10% progress speed.
- Quantum: Adds 25% resilience and a chance for a strong Subspace effect.

A few tips to keep in mind
- The Shadow NPC only appears during foggy nights at the very end of the night cycle.
- The White Ghost needs a natural windy night; totems won’t trigger it.
- Use Sundial and Smokescreen Totem to speed up night cycles or change weather.
- This quest can take a long time depending on your luck and preparation.
Getting the Astraeus Serenade Rod takes patience and skill, but it’s a rewarding goal for any serious Fisch player. If you want to prepare better, you might also want to learn how to get other rods like the Cryolash Rod.
With the right strategy, you’ll soon be reeling in rare fish with one of the best rods in the game.
