To unlock the Fangsplitter Rod in Fisch, find Echo in the Underground Music Venue and finish all five of his quests. Fisch is a fishing game on Roblox where you catch fish, sell them for coins, and collect rods that change how your catches go. The venue is hidden behind a trapdoor in Crystal Cove, and the quests ask for specific catches, a run of in-game days, and one final round of Megalodon fishing.
| Quest | What to do | Where and how |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Rubber Ducks Rule the World | 7 Perfect Rubber Ducky catches with the Nocturnal Rod | Vertigo's Dip, during rain |
| 2. Glistening Madness | 1 Shiny or Sparkling Withered Colossal Squid | Open Ocean, with Night Shrimp bait on foggy winter nights |
| 3. Days Turn to Nights, Nights to Days | 7 full in-game day cycles | A Sundial Totem speeds it up |
| 4. Wingripper Pt. 2 | 1 Shiny or Sparkling Distraught Enchant Relic | Dreambreaker Rod, fished anywhere (The Depths gives the best odds) |
| 5. The End | 7 Perfect Megalodon catches with the Nocturnal Rod | Megalodon Hunt near Ancient Isle, with Shark Head or Tryhard Worm bait |
How to Reach the Underground Music Venue in Fisch
The venue is hidden, so you'll need to work your way there in a set order. Each step opens the next one.
- Wait for a Strange Whirlpool to appear on the map, then jump into it to reach Vertigo.
- In Vertigo, fish up a Depths Key and use it to open the Depths Door.
- Head into The Depths and find the secret cave at GPS X: 1100, Y: -700, Z: 1400. It leads into Crystal Cove.
- In Crystal Cove, place a Chaotic Enchant Relic on the white crystal pedestal. This opens a secret trapdoor at the back.
- Go through the trapdoor to enter the Underground Music Venue.
Echo is in a corner at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the stage. He has red and brown hair and a set of dog ears, so he's easy to spot. Talk to him and pick "I'll prove it." to start the questline. Echo's quests come in order, and each one ends with a return to him.

Quest 1: Perfect Catch 7 Rubber Duckies With the Nocturnal Rod
Echo's first quest, Rubber Ducks Rule the World, requires the Nocturnal Rod. Synth runs the shop inside Vertigo, and the rod costs 15,000 C$. You'll use the same rod for the final quest, so one purchase covers both.
Rubber Duckies can be caught at Vertigo's Dip during rain. They don't need a specific bait, season, or time of day, so any rainy moment works.
A Perfect catch means you keep the fish's indicator inside the catch bar for the whole reeling minigame without losing progress even once. If your progress drops, that catch isn't Perfect, so take your time with each one. Coral or Deep Coral bait, which are high-resilience options, can make the seven catches easier.

Quest 2: Catch a Shiny or Sparkling Withered Colossal Squid
Glistening Madness asks for a Colossal Squid with the Withered mutation and either the Shiny or Sparkling attribute. You can find the squid in the Open Ocean. Use Night Shrimp bait and aim for a foggy winter night, since those are the conditions it prefers.
Withered is the tricky part. You can't add it at the Appraiser, so you have to catch the squid with a rod that can roll it. The Withered Spear has a 25% chance, and the Decayed Rod has a 10% chance, which makes the Spear the better pick.
Once you have a Withered squid, take it to the Appraiser and keep appraising until it picks up Shiny or Sparkling. Those attributes don't wipe out existing mutations, so the Withered stays on the fish. Return the finished squid to Echo. To improve your odds while fishing, a Shiny Surge, a Night of the Luminous, Rainbow weather, and the Blessed or Glittered enchantments all raise your Shiny and Sparkling chances.
Quest 3: Stay Through 7 Full In-Game Day Cycles
Days Turn to Nights, Nights to Days is the one quest with no catching involved. You just need to stay in the game through seven full day cycles. A full cycle runs from Day to Night and back to Day, and only complete cycles count toward the total.
A Sundial Totem speeds up the day cycles, so use one if you want to finish this quest sooner.
Quest 4: Catch a Shiny or Sparkling Distraught Enchant Relic
Wingripper Pt. 2 asks for an Enchant Relic with the Distraught mutation and either Shiny or Sparkling. The Appraiser can't add Distraught, so you need the Dreambreaker Rod to roll it. That rod gives Distraught a 35% chance at night and a 25% chance during the day.
Enchant Relics can be fished anywhere on the map. The Depths and Keeper's Altar are the strongest spots, and The Depths has a loot pool that raises relic chances well above the standard 1-in-350 odds.
Once you have the Distraught relic, take it to the Appraiser and keep appraising for Shiny or Sparkling. Those attributes don't remove Distraught, so the relic keeps the mutation you worked for. Blessed or Glittered enchantments also help, and appraising during a Shiny Surge or Night of the Luminous can raise your odds. Return the relic to Echo to finish the quest.
Quest 5: Perfect Catch 7 Megalodons and Claim the Fangsplitter Rod
The final quest needs a higher weight limit on the Nocturnal Rod. The Nocturnal Rod has a base Max Kg of 10,000 kg, but Megalodons start at 50,000 kg. Boost its weight capacity before you start. The confirmed option is the Invincible enchantment, which gives infinite Max Kg.
Megalodons appear during a Megalodon Hunt rather than all the time. Check the Events chat to see whether one is running. When it is, follow these steps:
- Go to Ancient Isle and equip the Nocturnal Rod.
- Use Shark Head or Tryhard Worms as bait.
- Fish in the Megalodon Hunt pool behind Ancient Isle. Any Megalodon counts, including Ancient Megalodon and Phantom Megalodon.
- Land seven Perfect catches. Megalodons can use rampage attacks that shrink the catch bar, so keep the fish inside the bar through those attacks as well.
After the seventh Perfect catch, return to Echo and interact with him again. The Fangsplitter Rod then goes into your inventory.
