How to Get and Use the Lightite Pickaxe in The Forge

Updated on February 8, 2026 (2 days ago)

If you want to mine faster and farm gold more efficiently in The Forge, the Lightite Pickaxe is a must-have. It’s not just another pickaxe; it’s designed to speed up your mining and boost your luck, helping you clear ore fields quickly without wasting time.

Here’s how to get the Lightite Pickaxe and why it’s worth the price

You can buy the Lightite Pickaxe from Miner Fred's Pickaxe Shop in the Forgotten Kingdom for 98,500 Gold. If you play as a Goblin, you get a 10% discount, bringing the price down to 88,680 Gold. That’s a big investment, but the benefits make it worth every coin.

To unlock the Forgotten Kingdom, you need to complete quests in World 1 (Stonewakes). These include mining 35 ores from pebbles and rocks, forging three basic items like iron swords at the workbench, defeating three zombies near the cave entrance, and finishing enchant and wizard tasks. Once done, you’ll get access to the portal leading to the Forgotten Kingdom.

To farm gold for the pickaxe, focus on forging and selling basic iron items like swords or mining boulders for mythril. You can sell mythril raw or forged, earning around 10,000 to 20,000 gold per hour.

Here are the key stats of the Lightite Pickaxe:

  • Mine Power: 100
  • Mining Speed: +30% (the highest in the game)
  • Luck: +45%
  • Rune Slots: 2 (some guides say 1, so check in-game)
  • Rarity: Epic

It looks pretty cool too, with two glowing white-blue points and a shining gem in the middle. It’s similar to the Platinum Pickaxe but stands out with its glow.

Why pick the Lightite Pickaxe instead of others?

If you want speed more than raw power, this pickaxe is perfect. It lets you mine faster, which is great when farming gold or clearing big ore fields. While it has less Mine Power than the Demonic Pickaxe (175 Mine Power) or the Arcane Pickaxe (115 Mine Power, 3 rune slots), it’s strong enough for most ores in the Forgotten Kingdom.

Keep in mind, it has fewer rune slots (2 or maybe 1), so you get less customization than with the Arcane Pickaxe, which has 3 slots. Also, it might struggle a bit with the toughest volcanic rocks because of its lower power.

For a pickaxe with higher power and more rune slots, check out how to get and use the Uranium Pickaxe in Roblox The Forge for efficient mining of tougher ores.

How to get the most out of your Lightite Pickaxe

Use it where speed matters most:

  1. Focus on mining fast to clear ore fields quickly.
  2. Farm gold by hitting high-health ore nodes faster.
  3. Upgrade your runes carefully since you have limited slots.
  4. Switch to a more powerful pickaxe later if you face very tough ores.
  5. If you’re Goblin race, buy it with your discount and try pairing it with the Miner Shard rune for extra ore drops (community tip, test it yourself).

When is the Lightite Pickaxe the best choice?

  • When you want to mine quickly rather than just hit hard.
  • For gold farming, since its speed cuts down your mining time.
  • In early to mid-game, as it handles most ores in the Forgotten Kingdom well.

The Lightite Pickaxe is a smart pick for players who want to speed up mining and boost luck without spending too much. It helps you work smarter, not harder, making mining smoother and more efficient.

With this pickaxe, you’ll spend less time waiting and more time collecting valuable ores and gold.
