Rockstar Games has published a Launch Gallery of 39 new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), announced on November 5, 2026. The images focus on the game's two lead characters, Jason and Lucia, and on its settings, including Vice City and the wider fictional state of Leonida. They show guns, vehicles, city nightlife, police activity, and wildlife, with a few calmer outdoor scenes mixed in.
| Image group | Screenshots |
|---|---|
| Vice City | 15 |
| Jason Duval | 9 |
| Jason and Lucia | 7 |
| Lucia Caminos | 4 |
| Grassrivers | 2 |
| Leonida Keys | 1 |
| Port Gellhorn | 1 |
| Total | 39 |
Vice City has the largest share, with 15 of the 39 images. Jason and Lucia are the next biggest focus, with 20 images built around one or both of them. The last four images leave the city for Grassrivers, the Leonida Keys, and Port Gellhorn.
Jason and Lucia Lead the GTA 6 Launch Gallery
Jason and Lucia appear with guns in many of the shots. In one, Jason leans into a car with a handgun while Lucia stands nearby. In another, Lucia grips a pistol beside a rain-speckled window under blue and purple light.

One image shows Jason in tactical gear in what looks like a firefight, with a dog in combat gear visible in the background. Armed confrontations like this run through the gallery, so firearms are a steady theme across the set.
For players, the gallery makes clear that the two leads are at the center of the game's look. It shows them with weapons, cars, and tense moments, but it doesn't explain what they're doing in each scene.
Vice City's Nightlife, Streets and Skyline
Vice City gets the most space in the gallery, and much of it is about nightlife. Several images show dancing and crowds at night, while others show police activity and people driving and riding vehicles.
Not every city shot is about the crowds. One marina image shows boats and the city skyline. Another shows a sunset scene where two people sit on a car under a large tree on a grassy hill, with deer grazing in the foreground and the skyline glowing in the distance.

Other shots are more personal. A woman reclines amid floating dollar bills, and four tattooed figures gather in a dim room while a bandana-wearing woman rests her hands on a seated man's shoulders.
Wildlife and Outdoor Scenes Beyond the City
Outside Vice City, the gallery moves into Leonida's swampy wetlands at Grassrivers, where two of the images are set. The Leonida Keys image shows a scuba diver among coral and a lionfish.

Animals appear across the set, including alligators, dogs, and deer. Scuba diving and open outdoor scenes round out the non-city shots.
What the Screenshots Don't Reveal Yet
Rockstar hasn't added captions to the gallery. There are no mission names, story context, or explanations of what each image means, and those details remain under wraps until launch.
That leaves the images to be read at face value: who is in them, what they're holding, and where they're set. Anything beyond that would be guesswork until the game is released.
When GTA 6 Arrives: November 19
Rockstar's announcement called Grand Theft Auto VI "now officially only two weeks away," which puts the launch two weeks after the gallery went up. The gallery page closes with the line "See you in Leonida on November 19," and Rockstar's official game page lists the same date.
