Noiseform mastery starts after you unlock the unrestricted Noiseform rod. The current mastery track has four missions: five Rhythmic fish, a Sparkling Rhythmic Mossjaw, a Soultorn Olympian Devil, and a Shiny Flowed Flower Guardian.
The mastery menu can open at Level 1000, but check the live menu if your game shows a different gate. For another rod mastery route, compare the Remembrance Rod mastery requirements. If you are still building a late-game setup, the Deep rod route in Fisch covers a separate progression path.
Land the five Rhythmic fish without missing a Noiseform zone
A Noisy Throwback needs five separate catches. Each one must have the Rhythmic mutation, and you should use Noiseform during the fish's hunt event when a hunt is required.

How to land the five Rhythmic catches
Rhythmic is not a bait or a weather effect. It comes from a clean Noiseform zone minigame, then rolls after the catch. The listed chance is 33%, so even a clean attempt can leave you fishing for the same target again. Fisch does enjoy making a checklist ask for another checklist.
Watch the warning shape and select the matching zone every time. A wrong selection can reduce your control by 28%, and four wrong selections can lose the fish. Keep your inputs calm, especially during a hunt fish with an awkward movement pattern.
Check the mutation label after every catch. Do not count a fish toward A Noisy Throwback until the catch shows Rhythmic and the Mastery menu records it.
Stack the right mutations on Mossjaw, Olympian Devil, and Flower Guardian
The remaining missions each ask for a specific fish and a specific mutation combination. The location and condition matter just as much as the rod effect.
Dance of the Green Titan: catch a Sparkling Rhythmic Mossjaw
Find Mossjaw in the Lost Jungle or Forgotten Temple night hunt. Glowworm is the listed bait to use for this catch. The target must show both Sparkling and Rhythmic when you check the result.
For the setup, one recommendation is a Blessed or Glimmering Crown approach. Other player setups describe Blessed with Glittered during a Rainbow and a Relic Construct condition. Treat those as different optimization suggestions, not interchangeable proven requirements. Check the live quest text and the mutation panel before committing rare resources.
Soul of the Devil: catch a Soultorn Olympian Devil
The Olympian Devil hunt takes place in Olympian Fissure at night during Stormy weather. No preferred bait is established for the catch, so do not treat Obsidian-Bone as a hard requirement unless the live quest explicitly names it. The statue and hunt route also need to be active before you start fishing.
The required result is Soultorn Olympian Devil. Because live handling of Soultorn and Rhythmic can change, use the Mastery counter as your check instead of relying on a fixed player trick.
Finish the Flow of Life quest
Catch one Flower Guardian with both Shiny and Flowed. It appears in the Living Garden only during a Flower Guardian Hunt. Fish Radar marks the moving hunt pool in magenta, and that pool lasts 10 minutes, so head there promptly instead of touring the garden like a lost botanist.
Use Kraken Tentacle or Thorn Cluster, the preferred baits for Flower Guardian. The mutation must show Shiny Flowed before the catch can satisfy Flow of Life.
Before mastery, Noiseform has a listed Flowed chance of 25%. The Flow of Life reward raises that chance to 35% afterward, so the reward helps future catches rather than the Flower Guardian needed to earn it.
Claim the rewards and fix catches that do not count
How to finish every Noiseform mastery quest
The four mission rewards are:
- A Noisy Throwback: Obelisk
- Dance of the Green Titan: Caprine title
- Soul of the Devil: Soulwalker
- Flow of Life: passive upgrades
Completing all four also gives the Ravereign skin. The Flow of Life passive raises Flowed from 25% to 35%, changes Falling Arrow Time from a 1 to 10 range to a 1 to 5 range, and reduces the incorrect-zone penalty from -28% to -20%.
Keep each valid catch until the Mastery menu checks it off. If the counter stays at 3/5 or 4/5, a successful fishing animation is not enough proof that the catch registered.
If a catch does not count, check the exact fish name, mutation labels, hunt condition, and Mastery counter. Follow the live quest text when it differs. Do not discard a catch that may still be needed while the counter is stalled.
Noiseform mastery FAQ
Do I need the unrestricted Noiseform rod before starting mastery?
Yes. Mastery is a separate track for the already unlocked and unrestricted Noiseform rod. The menu can use a Level 1000 gate, but the live Mastery menu is the final check.
Is Rhythmic guaranteed after a clean Noiseform zone?
No. A clean zone gives a listed 33% chance to roll Rhythmic after the catch. You still need to select the correct warning shape and confirm the mutation label.
