Dr. Harlow’s Office opens late in a Roblox Animal Hospital run during the Lore Expansion. Dr. Harlow shows up with confidential Animal Corp boxes, asks you to help carry them, and that escort is the only way past the sealed NO ACCESS door.
Once you drop the boxes, you can walk his office and read the papers he leaves out: family photo, to-do list, locked Anomaly Gene book, redacted letter, Oingit incident pages, and Ron’s email. Opening the room is separate from later secret chats that use other items or keys while he sits at the desk.

How to get into Dr. Harlow’s Office
The event lands in the late teens of a run, around Shift 16. Some runs hit it on 16; others see it a shift or two later (about 16-18). Trust the cue more than the number: Harlow in the lobby or entrance with confidential boxes, asking you to take them to his office.
You also need the Supplies Shop side of the hospital already open (it unlocks early, around Shift 3). That is normal progress, not a second office condition. You still cannot open NO ACCESS before the box job starts.
- Talk to Harlow and pick up a box. Press E (or your usual interact key) to carry it.
- Follow him to the door by the Supplies Shop. Look for the NO ACCESS sign above the door on the shop side of the hospital.
- Go through, follow the corridor, and turn left when the path turns. Ahead is a door under a RESTRICTED sign.
- Open RESTRICTED into the open area with four bridges (walkways). The bridges lead toward different rooms.
- Take the door under the OFFICE sign. That leads into the office waiting area.
- Set the box on the green-highlighted desk or table. Many players also see a green mark under a Materials label. Drop the box on that highlight to finish the escort.
After the drop, Harlow goes inside and sits. Ron from Accounting walks in and complains that Ratthew keeps breaking into Ron’s office. Harlow admits Ratthew is a problem, says he still has a good heart, and promises to handle it. Ron then leaves toward his own office (you cannot follow him in).
When that scene ends, explore freely. The Animal Hospital wiki helps if you want staff and location names while you poke around.
What you can find inside the office
Interact with each object for a short read. One book stays locked.
| Item | Where | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Burnt family photo | Right side of Harlow’s main desk | Frame of Harlow, his wife, and daughter. Burns hide Harlow and his wife; the daughter’s face is still clear. No text explains the damage. |
| To-do list | Desk behind Harlow’s chair (right side when you face that table) | Seven chores: Ron’s shipment, double coffee, “Regards” emails, Wing B recounts, feeding the supply-closet “thing,” not calling medicine “the batch,” and optional sleep. Full wording in the next section. |
| Locked book | Bookshelf on the right of Harlow’s desk | On the Discovery and Nature of the “Anomaly Gene” by John Arthur Nomaly, hospital logo below the author. No known way to open it. |
| Redacted congratulatory letter | Book under or near the to-do desk (paper sticking out) | Another doctor (name redacted) praises Harlow’s progress, mentions “the boss,” and asks him to pay the “reception actors” on time so the intern will not resign. |
| Oingit incident pages | Left of Harlow’s desk: shelf with blue binders; cardboard box on top, pages on the left of that box | Ron’s interview (interviewer redacted): a creature pulls former intern Oingit under a bed; Ron tells Harlow; the corporation will “handle it”; the interviewer says to forget Oingit and hire a new intern. |
| Ron’s email | Computer on Harlow’s desk | Raw supplies arrive tonight; process them personally and fast; unprocessed materials once looked different by morning. |
Two small extras if you are still looking: a sticky note under the desk that says “Call 808 for cleanup” (flavor only, not a known phone minigame; cleanup vibes match Animal Corporation crews like the Hazmat Team event), and a Deer plush easter egg from 99 Nights in the Forest in the waiting room outside the office.
Dr. Harlow’s to-do list wording
On the note behind his chair:
- Process Ron’s shipment before it processes itself.
- Order more coffee. Order more coffee. (Wrote this twice? Keeping both.)
- Ask Ron to stop signing emails “Regards.” We work twelve feet apart.
- Recount the patients in wing B. Get the same number twice, ideally.
- Feed the thing in the supply closet. DO NOT put this on the official schedule again.
- Stop referring to the medicine as “the batch” in front of visitors.
- Sleep (optional).
What the documents suggest
Read the papers as papers. They hint hard; they do not hand you a finished plot chart.
The Oingit interview describes a bed creature pulling the last intern under a bed. That matches the threat players usually call the Bed Monster while they run normal anomaly checks. The write-up says Harlow and the corporation quieted it, then the interviewer pushes “forget him, get a new intern.” That frames you as the replacement hire.
The locked Anomaly Gene book, raw-supply email, “the batch,” and the supply-closet “thing” all point at Animal Corporation research and odd materials. They do not prove one exact recipe. The redacted letter’s “reception actors” and “boss” lines only show Harlow answers to people above him. Do not treat named shop NPCs as confirmed actors unless a document names them.
