Supporters are the characters who boost your squads in SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL. Each Supporter is a named character you assign to one of your squads, and many are paired with a ship or base. Once assigned, it gives the squad a fixed stat bonus, a leader skill that lifts matching units, and a support skill that can heal allies in battle. They come in three rarities: UR, SSR and SR.

What Supporters Are and How They Fit Into a Squad
Squads are built from units and pilots, and a Supporter takes its own slot alongside them. Each squad holds one Supporter, which makes each Supporter a real choice.
Once equipped, a Supporter adds a fixed HP and attack bonus to its squad. Those numbers grow as you level the Supporter up and limit break it. The leader skill and support skill add the rest of its effect, and those two are where choosing the right Supporter really matters.
How Leader Skills Choose Which Units Get Stronger
A leader skill raises the stats of units that match its target. Each Supporter sets its own target, and that target can be a unit type such as commanders, rivals, exclusive machines, aces, prototypes, mobile armor or large-type units. It can also be a trait tag, such as durable or one-hit kill, or a series, such as the Universal Century or Gundam 00 units.
The target decides how much a leader skill is worth to you. A narrow target only helps if your squad is full of matching units, while a broad one can fit many different teams. So a Supporter with a strong boost can still be a poor pick if the units it targets never show up in your squads.
How Support Skills Help in Battle
Each Supporter also has a support skill, which restores HP or EN to allies within its range.
Choose based on what your squad lacks. If your units run low on EN during long fights, pick a Supporter that restores EN. If HP is the problem, look for HP recovery.
UR, SSR and SR Supporters: What Rarity Changes
Rarity mostly decides how big a Supporter's bonuses are. UR and SSR Supporters have stronger leader and support skills than SR, and that gap remains even after an SR is upgraded.
SR is not a tier to ignore, though. Its bonuses are smaller, but a Supporter whose target covers a large group can still be a useful fit for many squads.
Which Supporters to Prioritize
Start with the fit rather than the rarity. Ask whether the Supporter's target matches the units you already use, whether that target is broad enough to cover future squads, and whether its support skill restores what your team needs most. A Supporter that passes all three is worth chasing, even if it sits in a lower tier.
New players can start with the Supporters from Beginner Missions and keep using them until you get a UR or SSR that fits your units better.
How to Get Supporters
Gacha is the most common source, with regular pulls and limited-time ones. Events can also hand out Supporters, including large-scale battle events and map events. Missions are another route, and the beginner ones are worth clearing early. Shops such as the G Shop and some promotional rewards fill in the rest.
How to Level Up and Limit Break Supporters
Leveling a Supporter uses dedicated materials and raises its HP and attack bonuses. A limit break goes further. It uses either a duplicate of the same Supporter or dedicated materials, and it raises those bonuses a lot while also making the leader skill stronger.
That makes spare copies useful. Rather than leave a duplicate sitting unused, you can put it toward the limit break of the Supporter you rely on most.

Does a leader skill boost EN?
No. A leader skill's percentage covers a matching unit's stats except EN, so that stat stays the same.
Are limited Supporters worth pulling for?
If one fits a squad you already run, it is worth pulling during its window, because limited Supporters may not come back. If your units don't match its target, skip it and look for a regular Supporter that does.
