Items in Lineage Piece are the chests, ores, keys, rerolls, books, and named boss mats you spend to open a door or buy a spec. You farm one pile for a while, then cash it at a summoner, a shop, or a keyed raid. The real choice is which job you feed next, not which anime the name came from.

Chests
Common and Uncommon chests are just coin and gem bags. Rare is the first one that always tucks a reroll or Summon Core inside. From Epic up, bosses drop them far more often than trash mobs, so if you want the bonus pile, farm named fights, not the starter island forever.
Common Chest
The basic combat chest. Kill anything and you can walk away with a small coin and gem payout.
- Type
- Chest
- Chance
- 3% from mobs
- How to get
- Drops from any mob.
- Use
- Opens for 1,000 to 2,500 Coins and 7 to 15 Gems.
Uncommon Chest
A step up from Common. Same mob farm, better coin and gem ranges.

- Chest
- Chance
- 2% from mobs
- How to get
- Drops from any mob.
- Use
- Opens for 3,000 to 6,000 Coins and 25 to 50 Gems.
Rare Chest
The first chest that also hands you a reroll or Summon Core every time you open it.
- Type
- Chest
- Chance
- 1% from mobs
- How to get
- Drops from any mob.
- Use
- Opens for 10,000 to 20,000 Coins, 100 to 125 Gems, and one bonus item from Haki Color Reroll, Summon Core, Reroll Essence, Trait Reroll, or Race Reroll.

Bosses drop this far more often than trash mobs. Open it for a bigger payout plus a guaranteed bonus material.

- How to get
- Drops from any mob and from bosses.
- Use
- Opens for 30,000 to 60,000 Coins, 150 to 300 Gems, and one bonus stack of 1 to 2 Haki Color Rerolls or Summon Cores, or 1 Reroll Essence, Trait Reroll, or Race Reroll.

- 0.25% from mobs, 5% from bosses
- How to get
- Drops from any mob and from bosses.
- Use
- Opens for 80,000 to 150,000 Coins, 500 to 800 Gems, and 1 or 2 bonus items from the reroll and Summon Core pool.
Mythical Chest
The rarest chest. Bosses still only drop it at 1%, but the bonus pile is the biggest in the set.
- Type
- Chest
- Chance
- 0.1% from mobs, 1% from bosses
- How to get
- Drops from any mob and from bosses.
- Use
- Opens for 200,000 to 350,000 Coins, 900 to 1,100 Gems, and 2 or 3 bonus items, including up to 3 Haki Color Rerolls or Summon Cores.

Climb floors, then buy Shrine or Cid keys when you do not want to farm the mobs. | Unlock Item | - | Drops from the Tower gamemode on Monument Isle. | Traded at the Tower Shop for dungeon keys, including 5 shards for a Shrine Key and 8 shards for a Cid's Key. Also used for Tower upgrades. | |
| Holy Grail | Gilgamesh's spawn item. Turn Golden Dust into one Grail, then pay the rest of the summon cost. | Unlock Item | - | Crafted at the Holy Grail Craft NPC in Legend's Arena for 5 Golden Dust. | Used to spawn Gilgamesh at the Boss Summoner. | |
| Golden Dust | A common-looking dust with one job: five of these become a Holy Grail in Legend's Arena. | Unlock Item | 2.5% from any mob | Drops from any mob. | Exchanged 5 to 1 into a Holy Grail, which is required to spawn Gilgamesh. | |
| Slime | Rimuru's race item. You will burn several of these before the Slime race actually sticks. | Unlock Item | 35% from Rimuru | Drops from Rimuru on Fossil Island. | Consumed to roll the Slime race at a 5% success chance. | |
| Frozen Sakura | The Miyabi race item. Official Trello lists the race use, but not where the sakura itself drops. | Unlock Item | - | - | Consumed to roll the Frost Kitsune race at a 10% success chance. | |
| Black heart | The Monarch race consumable for Shadow's Dagger builds. Trello does not list a drop source. | Unlock Item | - | - | Consumed to obtain the Monarch race. | |
| Demon Soul | A named Trello item in the Kokushibo group. Official cards do not yet list a drop or a spend. | Unlock Item | - | - | - | |
| Blue Spider Lily | A world spawn, not a boss drop. Sweep the five listed islands, then pay Muzan 10 lilies for Demon. | Unlock Item | - | Spawns in the world on Fossil Island, Shinjuku Showdown, Lineage Town, Deeproot Jungle, and Legend's Arena. | Hand in 10 at the Muzan race NPC to unlock the Demon race. | |
| Hollow Mask | A Tensa unlock material, not an accessory. The drop is tiny, so plan a long Bankai farm. | Unlock Item | 0.1% from Ichigo (Bankai) | Drops from Ichigo (Bankai) on Hueco Mundo. | Required to buy Tensa Zangetsu after you own Zangetsu and have killed Ichigo (Bankai) 50 times. |
What to farm first
Start on islands you can already clear. Rare and better chests are the first real payoff, because they tuck a reroll or Summon Core in with the coins. Swing by Dawnwind Village every 20 minutes for Huge Stone so weapon enchants do not stall later.
Sung Jin Woo on Fossil Island is the first named farm that also opens a later door. He feeds Player's Dagger and almost always drops a Cartenon Key. Hold Slime Orbs until you are done with him. One orb steals that spawn for Rimuru.
Pick one unlock chain
Do not farm three later specs at once. Each chain wants its own key, its own summon pile, and a seller that will not take leftover mats from a different fight.
| If you want | Farm first | Then spend |
|---|---|---|
| Player's Dagger, then Shadow Daggers | Sung Jin Woo | Cartenon Key in Cartenon Temple |
| Excalibur, then Saber Alter | Saber | Ryuudo Key in Ryuudo Cave |
| Shadow | Cid's Key into Cid's Castle | Black Slime plus the Shadow boss pile |
| Raiden | Shrine Key from Snow Bandits or Tower Shards | Plane of Euthymia |
| Gojo or Sukuna | Cursed Orbs at Jujutsu Highschool | Then that style's named mats |
| A Shinjuku style | The cheaper Highschool farm | Limitless or Shrine Scroll after the buy |
| Miyabi mastery | Tickets for an Absolute Ether Key | Frost Katana Tsuba in Absolute Dead End |
| Firefly | Bytes for a Glamoth Planet Key | Fyrefly Type-IV, not the earlier wave |
| Yhwach | The Scatthen quest, then Wandenreich | Mini-boss pieces and Yhwach himself |
| Solemn Lament | Soulweaver Butterflies on Frostborn | Angela's shop crafts |
A key is spent when you enter. A wipe does not give it back. If you hate the mob farm, Tower Shards on Monument Isle buy Cid's and Shrine keys.
What to save, not spend
Summon Cores buy Deku and Saber in Legend's Arena. Boss's Souls drop after those fights. Spend them on Trial's Keys if you want artifacts, or bank a pile if Solemn Lament is the plan.
Tickets go to the Lineage Town banner, including the Miyabi pull that can hand you an Absolute Ether Key. Golden Dust is only useful as Holy Grails: five dust become one Grail, and that Grail is how you spawn Gilgamesh.
Armor Scrap has two jobs. A big Firefly buy, then extras at the Monument Isle scrap shop for rerolls and Glamoth Essence.
Race mats and later taxes
True Six Eye and True Sukuna Fingers buy the Shinjuku styles, then burn again for Enlightened and Vessel. Buy the style first so you do not lock yourself out of the seller.
Cursed Shards are the shared Jujutsu tax. Do not split the pile across Highschool Gojo, Highschool Sukuna, and both Shinjuku kits until you know which one you will keep.
Yhwach wants a long Wandenreich stay. Blue Souls drop better from the mini-bosses than from Yhwach himself, so clear the crosses instead of resetting for the last fight.
Common mistakes
- Mixing Haki Book with Obs Haki Book. They unlock different Haki and come from different routes.
- Treating Hollow Mask or Shizu Mask as outfits. One buys Tensa Zangetsu. The other buys Rimuru.
- Feeding a Slime Orb before you are done with Sung Jin Woo.
- Opening a raid key just to look around.
- Farming Proto-SAM Type-III as if it were the Firefly boss.
- Spending Artifact Sub-Rerolls like a combat drop.
- Starting Solemn Lament without a Boss's Soul and butterfly pile.
These are the named drops a seller asks for when you buy a style or sword. Farm the boss or raid that actually lists the item. Do not hop islands just because two names share a franchise. A Hollow Mask is a Tensa material, not an outfit. A Shizu Mask is a Rimuru material, not Rimuru's Outfit.
FAQ
How do you get items in Lineage Piece?
Chests and most rerolls drop from combat. Ores come from Huge Stone on Dawnwind Village. Keys drop on the island before a raid or buy from a shop. Named boss materials drop from the boss or raid that lists them.
What is the difference between Haki Book and Obs Haki Book?
They are different items. Haki Book is a 0.1% drop from any mob or boss, and it unlocks Armament at the Buso Haki NPC on Frostborn Island. Obs Haki Book is an untradeable one-time quest item from the fifth Deeproot Jungle torch, and it only unlocks Observation.
Is Hollow Mask an outfit?
No. Hollow Mask is an unlock material for Tensa Zangetsu. It drops at 0.1% from Ichigo (Bankai) on Hueco Mundo. You also need Zangetsu and 50 Bankai kills before the seller will take it.
Is Shizu Mask the same as Rimuru's Outfit?
No. Shizu Mask is a Rimuru unlock material from the Rimuru fight on Fossil Island. Rimuru's Outfit is a separate accessory.
How do you get ores?
Destroy Huge Stone on Dawnwind Village. It spawns every 20 minutes, despawns after 5 minutes, and gives 1 random ore for every 1% damage you deal. Spend ores to enchant weapons.
Which chests give rerolls?
Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical chests always include a bonus from the reroll and Summon Core pool. Common and Uncommon only pay coins and gems.
How do you get raid keys?
Cid's Key drops from Bandits or buys with Tower Shards. Shrine Key drops from Snow Bandits or buys with Tower Shards. Cartenon Key drops from Sung Jin Woo. Ryuudo Key drops from Saber. Scatthen Key needs the Hueco Mundo quest first. Trial's, Glamoth Planet, and Butterfly Grave keys are shop buys.
How do you get Summon Cores and Boss's Souls?
Summon Cores drop from Rare or better chests and from any mob or boss at 4%. Spend them at the Boss Summoner in Legend's Arena for Deku and Saber. Boss's Souls drop once per Legend's Arena boss kill and pay for Trial's Keys, the Boss Exchange, or Solemn Lament.
How do you farm Solemn Lament materials?
Kill Butterflyed mobs and run The Butterfly Grave for Soulweaver Butterflies. Buy the Butterfly Grave Key from Angela for 35 butterflies. Craft Grief for the Dead, Lament for the Living, and Fusion Cores at the Butterfly Shop, then bring Boss's Souls to the Solemn Lament seller.
Is Artifact Sub-Reroll a combat drop?
No. Run Simulated Sea, or buy it with Bytes or Armor Scrap on Monument Isle. It rerolls artifact sub-stats and does not drop from mobs, bosses, or chests.
Is Hogyoku the same as Hogyoku Shard?
Yes. The item is Hogyoku. Some Aizen drop text still says Hogyoku Shard. Same Hueco Mundo material.
How do you get the Demon race item?
Blue Spider Lily is a world spawn on Fossil Island, Shinjuku Showdown, Lineage Town, Deeproot Jungle, and Legend's Arena. Hand in 10 at the Muzan race NPC. It is not a boss drop.
