Simulated Sea cards are the buffs you buy while you run Monument Isle's roguelite mode. Isolation stays open to any kit. Tidal Striker and Blade Rifter push melee or swords so hard they start charging a tax.

Isolation
Isolation is the general deck. It boosts melee, weapon, crit, cooldown, health, fragments, or total damage with no weapon lock. There is no Isolation stack card, so you pick the stats you need instead of filling the pack for a prize. Rest rooms sell and upgrade these at the Card Shop and Card Upgrade NPCs, and higher seas raise the price.

Pick the deck that matches your hits
Isolation is the flexible draft when your kit still mixes punches, swords, and skills. Tidal Striker is the melee commit. Blade Rifter is the sword commit. The specialist decks each have a stack card that only counts cards from that same deck.
| If you fight with | Draft |
|---|---|
| Punches and kicks | Tidal Striker |
| Swords | Blade Rifter |
| Mixed hits, crit, or shop money | Isolation |
Do not split a Tidal or Blade run with Isolation just because Isolation looks safer. The stack card is picky. It only counts its own deck.
Read the downside first
Some later Tidal and Blade cards pay a big melee or weapon bump, then take HP, weapon damage, damage reduction, melee, or cooldown. Those are fine when you already live on that damage type. They are a wipe if you still need the stat they tax.
Chance cards only help when they proc. Overflowing Horizon does nothing until your crit rate is already over 100%. Fragment-gain cards only matter if you still need shop money for later rooms.
Common mistakes
- Mixing decks and expecting the stack card to count everything
- Buying a melee tax card while you still swing a sword
- Buying a sword tax card while you still punch
- Taking a huge HP or defense cut before later seas can punish it
- Spending early fragments on shop-money cards when you already have enough
FAQ
How do you get Simulated Sea cards in Lineage Piece?
Start Simulated Sea from Monument Isle, then buy or upgrade cards in Rest rooms. The Card Shop sells the next card. The Card Upgrade NPC strengthens one you already have. Higher seas raise both prices.
Where do you start Simulated Sea?
Monument Isle. Talk to the Simulated Sea NPC there to enter the mode, then shop in Rest rooms as you move through Sea 1 to Sea 5.
Which Simulated Sea deck should you pick?
Isolation if your kit is mixed or you need crit, cooldown, health, or fragments. Tidal Striker if you live on melee. Blade Rifter if you live on swords. Stay in one specialist deck if you want that deck's stack card.
Does Isolation have a stack card?
No. Isolation has no card that grows with every Isolation card. Tidal Striker has Oceanic Resonance. Blade Rifter has Blade Nexus.
What does Oceanic Resonance do?
It adds +10% Melee DMG for every Tidal Striker card you have. Isolation and Blade Rifter cards do not count toward that bonus.
What does Blade Nexus do?
It adds +10% Weapon DMG for every Blade Rifter card you have. Isolation and Tidal Striker cards do not count toward that bonus.
What are fragments used for?
Fragments are the shop money inside a Simulated Sea run. You spend them at the Rest-room Card Shop and Card Upgrade NPCs. Isolation cards like Scavenger's Solitude, Void Collector, and Singularity Aura raise how many you earn.
What is the best Simulated Sea card?
There is no single best card. Sovereign Void is the biggest Isolation total-damage bump. Poseidon's Domain is the biggest Tidal melee bump, but it cuts damage reduction. Blade Nexus is the Blade Rifter stack. Pick the card that matches how you already hit.
Why do some cards lower your HP or damage?
Those are trade cards. Tsunami Drive and Poseidon's Domain buy melee with HP or damage reduction. Unarmed Torrent cuts weapon damage. Distanced Tear cuts melee. Heavy Distortion lengthens cooldown. Take them only if you can live with the tax.
Can you upgrade Simulated Sea cards?
Yes. Rest rooms have a Card Upgrade NPC. Higher seas make those upgrades cost more, so save fragments if a later sea is the plan.
