Weather is one of the systems that makes Grow a Garden feel alive instead of static. Different weather patterns can speed up growth, trigger mutations, and change what kinds of outcomes are possible on a plot during a given session. Once you start caring about mutation stacking or timing your farming around specific boosts, weather becomes something you pay attention to instead of just background atmosphere.
This weather catalog keeps those effects in one place. It includes standard, event, admin, and other tracked weather entries so you can quickly see what each weather type does, how it affects crops or players, and whether it belongs to normal gameplay or a more limited system.

Acid Rain
Chance to apply Acidic mutation. Functions the same as normal rain.
Aurora Borealis
+50% Grow speed. Chance to apply Aurora.
Blood Moon
Chance to apply the Bloodlit mutation. The Sky-box turns red.
Crystal Beams
Once all crystals have been activated, crops have a chance to get a few mutations (Known: Celestial, Aurora, Shocked).
Earthquake
Chance to apply Cracked mutation to crops.
Frost
Increases growth speed by 50%. Chance to apply Chilled or Frozen. Triggers shivering animation for players, along with a shivering sound effect.
Gale
Rare version of Windy. High chance to trigger the Windstruck mutation. Players will be blown by strong wind currents, slowly moving them towards the gear shop area.
Gentle Drizzle
Chance to apply the Moist mutation.
Heat Wave
Crops hit by sun rays obtain the Sundried mutation.
Meteor Shower
Meteors fall from the sky. Crops hit by meteors obtain the Celestial mutation.
Night
Chance to apply Moonlit. Six crops become Moonlit per night (once every 40 seconds over 4 minutes). Sky-box turns a dark purple, and the moon and stars appear in the sky.
NPC Birthday
Feed the NPC to get something from their shop. Players cannot feed the NPC 2 times.
Rain
Increases growth speed by 50%. 50% chance to trigger the Wet mutation.
Sandstorm
Sand particles fly around the map, adding a yellow-tinted fog and making the ground a sandy-yellow. Chance to apply the Sandy mutation.
Solar Eclipse
Chance to apply Eclipse mutation to crops.
Sun God
Applies the Dawnbound mutation to four or more sunflowers when presented in front of the Sun God. A golden Jandel spreading his arms will appear behind the egg, cosmetics, and gear shops with a golden, god-like aura.
Thunderstorm
Increases growth speed by 50%. 50% chance to trigger Wet. Crops struck by lightning obtain the Shocked mutation.
Tornado
The sky turns cloudy, and tornadoes spawn around the map. Crops struck by a tornado will obtain Twisted mutation.
Tropical Rain
Increases growth speed by 50%. Chance to apply the Drenched mutation. The sky turns sea green and rain particles fall from the sky.
Windy

Causes Jandel to appear If 4 people are holding a beanstalk, they will get the Beanbound mutation. Some crops also have a chance to get the Beanbound mutation. The sky turns green during this weather event.

Chance to apply Pollinated mutation.
Black Hole
Chance to apply Void Touched mutation. A giant black hole spawns in the middle of the sky and gives the sky-box purple effects.
Blizzard
Higher chance of Frozen and Chilled mutations.

Chance to apply Boil mutation.
Boombox Party
Chance to apply Disco mutation.
Brainrot Portal
Gives the Brainrot mutation.

Chance to apply Infected mutation. Multiple zombies spawn around the map. If a player touches them, their arms will be extended outwards like a zombie. The player will then be able to "infect" other players by touching them.
Chocolate Rain
Chocolate clouds appear in the sky. Chance to apply Choc mutation.
Christmas Crackers
Christmas Crackers appear on the map. A players must hold and pull a Christmas Cracker on each side. Once both players pull, the Christmas Cracker will break, revealing a random gift.

Stocks a seed in the Seed Shop or a gear in the Gear Shop.
Stoplight
Starts a game of red light, green light. Winner gets the stoplight cosmetic. Small chance to trigger the Lightcycle mutation.
Strobe Party
Can give the Disco mutation. Previously, the player had to click all the buttons that spawn on the map to get the Disco mutation, but now they don't have to.
Sunset
Can give the Verdant mutation.

Players can water their gardens and make their plants Wet. Players have a small chance to make their plants Drenched. This is the first weather with something that spawns at players' gardens.

Groups of 3 presents appear on the map. A player can open more than one present from the group for a random item or mutation!

Zen Aura
Pixel particles and leaves revolve around the skybox. Once every 30 seconds of the Zen event the Zen Channeller summons an orb that applies the Tranquil mutation to a random crop.

Why include admin and event weather on the same page?
Because they are still part of the game''s weather system and often explain mutation screenshots, special effects, or limited mechanics that players run into. Splitting them out would make the weather list less useful as a full reference.
Does weather only affect growth speed?
No. Many tracked weather entries also influence mutation application, visuals, status effects, or temporary world behavior, which is why the effect and details fields are both kept in the catalog.
