Which gear should you upgrade first?
Spend on the part of your run that needs help. A detector upgrade will not do your digging for you, and an expensive shovel cannot take over cleaning duty.
- Choose a detector when detection Luck or search Range is your priority.
- Choose a shovel when digging Power or movement between spots needs an upgrade.
- Choose a spray or pressure washer when cleaning is holding you up.
Compare the gain against the price within that gear family. Matching material names across different tools do not mean they cost the same or give equivalent improvements.
Where to buy later gear
The Gear Shop covers the early equipment progression. Later island shops matter too: Paradise Point sells Storm, Magma and Archangel Shovels, while the tombstone house at Tombstone Tides sells Necropolis gear.
