Anomaly is the top rarity added in Update 2, above Omega. Your route is simple: raise Luck, bring enough digging Power for heavy finds, watch for the dark-green beam, and claim the spot before another player does.
If you need a refresher on the basic dig, clean, and display loop, the Dig and Clean beginner's guide covers it.

Raise Luck and digging Power before you hunt
Use a detector with as much Luck as you can get. The Eclipse Detector is listed at x10,500 Luck, with an 8x passive Luck boost available in Frozen Shores. Check the in-game gear panel for the current price before saving up, since gear values can change.
Anomaly finds can appear across all four islands, including the home beach. Frozen Shores helps with its passive boost, but it is not the only place to search.
Moon and Great White Shark are two named Anomaly examples. They can show up with Mint Quality, which is a condition for the item, not a separate rarity.

Anomaly finds tend to have high Weight, so bring a shovel with enough digging Power to finish the job. Eclipse and Sugilite are two useful choices for heavy digs. The Dig and Clean gear tier list can help you plan the rest of your detector, shovel, and spray setup.
Luck improves your chances, but it does not promise an Anomaly every time. This hunt still involves a lot of digging and a little patience.
Watch for the dark-green beam and claim the find quickly
Use your detector to check a dig spot. When it identifies an Anomaly, a dark-green beam rises from the ground. That beam is your signal to start digging.

Dig straight away on a public server. Another player can claim the find, so wandering off for a snack is a risky strategy. If public lobbies keep turning the hunt into a race, use a personal server to reduce the competition.
After you pull the item out, spray-clean it before you display or sell it. A Mint result is a quality condition, so keep that separate from the Anomaly rarity when you check the finished find.
The Dig and Clean Omega items guide is useful for comparing the previous top rarity and its gear focus, but the Anomaly hunt depends more on spotting the beam and handling heavy digs quickly.
Use Admin Abuse windows, but do not expect a guaranteed drop
Admin Abuse events can be useful hunting windows. Developer-run events may raise Luck or digging Power and can spawn high-rarity finds, including Anomaly. Check the live event announcement before you plan around one, because event timing and boosts can change.
Treat every boost as extra help, not a guarantee. For the item names, stick to Moon and Great White Shark as confirmed examples. The other two names and exact Anomaly odds are not clear enough to list safely, so focus on the detector, beam, and shovel route instead.
