Detectors locate buried finds, shovels dig them up, and sprays or pressure washers clean them. You buy upgrades at the Gear Shop and later island shops. Choose equipment for the step you want to improve, since detection Luck, digging Power and cleaning Power do different jobs.

Island travel takes you beyond Home Beach to new digging areas and equipment shops. Unlock destinations as you progress, then return home to clean finds and build your museum. The Volcano also has a Forgemaster for forging trips.

Rarity names and glow colors help identify your finds, while condition, weight and mutations describe other parts of the same item. Clean a find to confirm its label, then compare its displayed income before changing your museum. Later island progression adds more rarity goals to work toward.

Buried finds become recognizable items after you dig them up and clean them. Discoveries build your Index and museum, and copies of the same item can vary in weight and condition. Special finds can also involve forging, giving you a different goal from an ordinary digging trip.
