Recorded weight is an example specimen’s weight in kilograms, not a fixed size for every copy. Card color describes the visual band rather than assigning an official rarity name.

Finding an item is only the start

Use your detector to locate a find, dig it up, then clean it to reveal what you brought home. Keep your gear ready for the whole process: detecting something valuable is little comfort if digging or cleaning it becomes the slow part.

A repeat discovery is not necessarily an identical copy. Weight and condition can differ between specimens, so the name alone does not tell you its size or value.

Hunting special finds

Later destinations open up different goals. Great White Shark belongs to Anomaly hunting, while Eiffel Tower is a find associated with Tombstone Tides. Check your island access and equipment before committing to a long hunt.

Some special finds involve forging rather than an ordinary dig. Visit the Forgemaster for the requirements of the item you want; do not assume every cosmic-looking find follows the same method. Keep that distinction in mind when deciding whether to spend your next session digging or preparing for a forge.
