All 8 Ghost Models in Demonology

Updated on (13 days ago)

The ghost model is the face a job's entity wears: a small roster of distinct figures, split between female and male forms, that appear during events, hunts, and photographs. Models are looks, not stats; the ghost type decides behavior while the model decides what steps out of the dark.

Model versus type

A job rolls a ghost type for behavior and a model for appearance, and the two are independent: the same veiled figure can be a harmless haunt one job and a hunt machine the next. That independence is worth internalizing, because reacting to the scary model instead of the evidence is how misidentifications happen.

Why the roster still matters

  • Recognizing models on sight makes ghost photos faster to line up, and ghost photos sit at the top of the payout table.
  • Some models telegraph their events with signature looks, so knowing them turns a jump scare into information.
  • Ghost skins from the store can reskin the roster, which is cosmetic and does not touch behavior.

FAQ

Q.

Does the ghost model affect behavior?

No. Behavior comes from the ghost type; the model is the appearance rolled for that job. Treat the model as a photo target, not as evidence.

Q.

Can two jobs have the same model?

Yes, models repeat freely across jobs and pair with any ghost type.

Q.

What are ghost skins?

Store cosmetics that reskin ghost models for style. They change nothing about hunts or evidence.
