In The Hollow, Roblox's Halloween event, the Demonology badge is called The Way Back. You earn it alongside the Biter Fedora, a Roblox avatar hat, by finishing one quest inside Demonology. The quest asks you to collect six relics, place them on an altar, and complete a ritual, and then you claim both rewards back in The Hollow hub.

How to Start the Demonology Quest in The Hollow
Starting the quest takes three steps:
- Join Demonology directly, or teleport in through The Hollow hub.
- Click the button labeled The Hollow, then confirm.
- Walk through the door marked Room no. 304 at the job site.
The door takes you to a separate area the game calls Somewhere Else, and the rest of the quest happens there. Once you arrive, use the compass. Its red marker points to your current target, and a guiding light shows where each item is.
How to Collect the Six Relics Without Losing Them
You can collect the relics in any order. The objective at the lower-left of the screen names the one you need next, and objects you can interact with glow purple as you get close. Each relic has its own action, so take them one at a time.
The main risk is the monsters. They appear at random, and when one shows up, the compass shakes, the red marker disappears, and the screen goes dark. If one catches you, you respawn at the altar and lose the relic you were carrying.
Hide in one of the wardrobes around the map and stay inside until the monster leaves. Carry each relic to the altar as soon as you have it, so a catch costs you as little as possible.
How to Place the Relics and Finish the Altar Ritual
The altar has six pedestals, one for each relic. Place every relic on a pedestal, and keep count as you go, because the ritual can't begin until all six are in place.
When the last relic is on its pedestal, walk to the pillar with the pentagram. On PC, hold E there to start the ritual. Finishing it completes the quest, and the rewards become claimable in the hub.
How to Claim The Way Back Badge and the Biter Fedora
After the ritual, you spawn back in the lobby. Head into The Hollow hub and claim both rewards:
- Confirm the The Way Back popup to claim the badge.
- Find the display labeled Biter Fedora and use Claim to get the hat.
The badge and the hat are claimed separately, so check both before you leave the hub.
