The Yin Yang ritual is how you open the secret cave in Ride A Pet's Halloween event area. You need one Yin Half and one Yang Half. Pick both up off the ground, then place them on the cave door. Inside, the cave gives you Candy or a Headless Egg. The Egg is the prize, but it's rare.
How to Reach the Halloween Event Area
Rebirth 1 is the key. Finish it, then head to the main map and find the portal ringed with pumpkins. Step through it to reach the Halloween event area, which is the only place both halves appear.
Check the in-game Rebirth panel for the Rebirth 1 requirement before you plan your trip.
Where to Find the Yin and Yang Pieces in Ride A Pet
Any player can pick up the halves, and they can spawn anywhere in the event area. Both can be on the map at the same time. Nothing announces when one appears, so keep your eyes on the ground as you move.
Look for small dark objects, especially near the candy and pumpkins. They blend into the festive decorations, so they're easy to miss.
A half can vanish about five minutes after it appears, and new ones can show up five to ten minutes later. Those times are approximate, so grab a half the moment you spot one.
Four spots come up most often. Pieces still spawn at random, though, so sweep the whole event area instead of camping one spot.
Candy Drop-Off
The Candy Drop-Off is one of those spots. Search the ground around its sign and delivery pad.
Trick-or-Treat Houses
Give the ground around the Trick-or-Treat houses a full search before you move on.
Cemetery Above the Cave
The cemetery sits above the cave. It's close to the door, so you won't have far to walk once you have both halves.
Open Ground Before the Pumpkin Area
Pumpkins mark the far end of the event area. Check the open ground in front of them.
Opening the Yin Yang Cave Door
With both halves in hand, head back to the cave. Each half goes on the large circle on the door, one at a time.
- Walk up to the cave door in the event area.
- Interact with the gate.
- Place one half on the large circle.
- Place the other half on the circle.
- Step inside the cave.
You can do the whole ritual alone. A friend can help, though. If they place one of the halves, they become eligible to enter the cave and collect the reward inside. Both players can claim a Headless Egg if one shows up.
What the Yin Yang Cave Gives You
The Headless Egg and Headless Horseman
The Headless Egg has a 0.1% chance of showing up in the cave. That's 1 in 1,000, so treat it as a long shot, not a guarantee. When it drops, it goes straight into your inventory and hatches right away into the Secret Headless Horseman. The hatch chance is 100%, so the pet is yours as soon as the Egg lands.
The Horseman's base earnings are 92.58 million Cash per second. That's the base number, so check the in-game Index for the live stat before you plan around it.
Candy and Halloween Tokens
If you don't get the Egg, the cave can give up to 100 Candy instead. Deposit it at the Candy Drop-Off in the event area to claim Halloween Tokens, which the event shop needs for Halloween Eggs. So if the cave gives you Candy, make the Drop-Off your next stop.
