How egg hunting works

Most eggs appear as world spawns. Search the map, use a radar that matches the rarity you want, and head home as soon as you find your target. The egg still needs an open plot nest, so checking your ranch before a long trip saves a very awkward return.

Luck is the egg's hunt value, not the hatch chance for a specific pet. Larger values mark harder targets on the rarity ladder. They do not prove what will hatch, so do not copy pet odds onto an egg unless that pairing is known.

Choosing your next egg

Start with eggs you can reach and return safely, then move up when your mount is fast enough to cover more of the map. A higher rarity is only useful if you can get it home, and a shiny shell does not negotiate with travel time.

Radars help you search a chosen rarity, but they do not replace route knowledge. Learn where the main paths, caves, cliffs, tree routes, and desert landmarks connect so you can react quickly when a better target appears.

Black Hole and Cherub egg hunts

Black Hole Egg and Cherub Egg use announced spawns rather than the normal quiet map hunt. When the message appears, take your fastest suitable pet and sweep their shared landmarks: the Giant Tree, waterfall cave and exit cliffs, the Forest-Desert edge, the Pyramid, and the pond maze.

Treat those landmarks as check spots, not guaranteed pins. If one area is empty, another player may have reached it first, so keep moving instead of guarding the scenery.

Mistakes that waste an egg run

  • Leave an open nest at your plot before searching far from home.
  • Pick a fast mount for the return trip instead of choosing by rarity alone.
  • Do not camp one landmark while a radar or announcement points you into a wider route.
  • Treat Easter Egg as an available world spawn, not a limited holiday reward.
  • Keep unconfirmed egg names and hatch pools out of your plan until the game gives you something solid.

FAQ

Q.

Where do you hatch eggs in Ride A Pet?

Carry the egg back to your plot and place it in an open nest. Finding the egg is only the first half of the trip.

Q.

Does an egg's Luck value show its pet hatch chance?

No. Luck marks the egg's place on the hunt ladder. A pet's hatch chance is a separate value and should not be copied onto an egg without a confirmed pairing.

Q.

Are Black Hole and Cherub eggs guaranteed at one location?

No. They share a set of reported check areas, including the Giant Tree, waterfall route, Forest-Desert edge, Pyramid, and pond maze. Search the full circuit after the announcement instead of camping one corner.

Q.

Is the Easter Egg a limited event egg?

It is currently treated as an available Rare world spawn. Its name does not make it a limited holiday reward.
