Void and Eternal sit higher on the Cash ladder, but their Speed effects are not settled. Keep them for income when that is your priority, and check the live pet card before replacing a confirmed movement boost. The bigger number is useful, but it does not get to invent a second number.
Preparing a target for weather
Place the pet or egg you want to mutate in the Pen before the matching weather begins. A pet you are riding can also be struck, but moving quickly can carry it past the lightning. Pets stored in inventory are not eligible.
The strike itself is not guaranteed, and a weather event does not prove that every egg on the map changed. Keep your best target exposed, watch its label and stats, and confirm the result after lightning lands.
Replacing a weaker mutation
A pet holds a single weather mutation at a time. A higher-tier weather strike can replace a weaker result, so Shocked or Volted can remain useful while you wait for an upgrade.
