Attack on Titan Revolution is a Roblox game where you fight Titans with ODM gear, the mobility gear you use to zip around and strike, or by shifting into a Titan yourself. The best family, perks, and artifacts depend on which style you play. For ODM combat, Ackerman and Helos are among the strongest family picks, Fritz, Yeager, and Reiss suit players who shift into Titans, and Shiki can handle both.
| Tier | Families | Artifacts |
|---|---|---|
| S | Fritz, Helos, Ackerman, Yeager, Reiss, Shiki | Scarf, Feathered Bicorn, Hoodie, Crystal Necklace |
| A | Leonhart, Tybur, Galliard, Braun, Arlert, Ksaver, Zoe | Attack Scars, Armored Scars, Female Scars, Colossal Scars, Warrior's Armband, Scorched Cloak, Cloak, Rifle, Lantern |
| B | Finger, Azumabito, Braus, Smith, Springer, Kruger, Grice, Kirstein | Handkerchief, Crown, Ring, Backpack, Sleeping Mask, Key |
| C | Blouse, Bozado, Boyega, Hume, Iglehaut, Inocenio, Munsell, Pikale, Ral, Reeves | Glasses, Goggles, Journal |
These tiers reflect how useful each option is in play, not an official ranking from the developers.
Best Attack on Titan Revolution Families for ODM and Titan Shifter Play
Families are a core part of your character build. They give you permanent stat bonuses, and depending on rarity, they can unlock exclusive abilities, extra Perk slots, and Titan Shifter bonuses. Rarity doesn't settle everything, though. Families come in six rarities, from Common up to Secret, and a higher rarity doesn't always fit every playstyle. You can reroll your Family through the Customization menu if you want to try another.

The S-tier families split into three groups by how you fight.
For ODM-only play
- Ackerman (Legendary): Massive ODM damage, critical bonuses, extra mobility, and an extra Offensive Perk slot. It can't transform into a Titan.
- Helos (Mythical): Strong combat damage, critical stats, mobility, Raid damage, and exclusive combat abilities. It can't transform into a Titan either.
For Titan Shifting
- Fritz (Mythical): Strong Shifter bonuses, extra Perk slots, exclusive abilities, and party-wide XP and Gold boosts.
- Yeager (Legendary): Attack Titan bonuses, extra critical chance, and exclusive Shifter abilities. Update 5 added +15% damage in Attack Raids and +20% Beast Titan stats.
- Reiss (Legendary): Titan bonuses, XP and Gold boosts, party benefits, and an extra Support Perk slot.
For both
- Shiki (Secret): Combat bonuses, extra mobility, critical stats, and exclusive abilities. It can shift into a Titan, which makes it the choice if you switch between ODM and shifting.
Epic Families Built Around Specific Titans
All seven A-tier families are Epic. Six of them are tied to one Titan type, so they make the most sense once you commit to that Shifter. Zoe is the exception, since its bonuses focus on ODM control and speed.
- Leonhart: Female Titan bonuses, more damage, faster Titan movement, and exclusive abilities. Update 5 raised its damage by 10% in Female Raids.
- Tybur: Warhammer Titan bonuses, longer shifting duration, and more Gold gain.
- Galliard: Jaw Titan bonuses, faster Titan attacks, and more critical damage.
- Braun: Armored Titan bonuses, extra health, and damage reduction. Update 5 added 10% damage in Armored Raids.
- Arlert: Better Colossal Titan performance and a longer-range nuclear attack. Update 5 added 10% damage in Colossal Raids.
- Ksaver: Beast Titan bonuses, extra damage, and more ODM range.
- Zoe: Excellent ODM control and speed, plus the Last Stand ability.
Lower Family Tiers: Tradeoffs and When to Swap
B-tier families still offer useful bonuses, but they're generally less effective than the higher rarities. Most of them pair a bonus with a penalty, so read the "but" in each line carefully.
- Finger (Epic): Cart Titan bonuses, longer shifting duration, and more ODM gas.
- Azumabito (Rare): A small damage and ODM control boost, but lower Titan stats.
- Braus (Rare): Extra health and the Potato ability.
- Smith (Rare): XP and Gold bonuses for party members, but lower personal damage.
- Springer (Rare): Extra health and critical damage, but lower critical chance.
- Kruger (Rare): Attack Titan bonuses, but lower critical chance.
- Grice (Rare): Jaw Titan bonuses, but less ODM gas.
- Kirstein (Rare): Higher Horse stats, but lower ODM speed.
Common families (C tier) don't offer any benefit over the higher rarities. They're only worth using early in the game, so swap them for a better option as soon as you can.
Perk Tier List by Category: Core, Offense, Defense, and Support
Perks add extra bonuses and fall into four categories: Core, Offense, Defense, and Support. You can mix them to suit ODM combat, Titan Shifting, or Thunder Spear damage. The table covers the perks that were in the game before Update 5, and the newer perks have their own section.
| Tier | Core | Offense | Defense | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | Perfect Form, Founder's Blessing, Heavenly Restriction | Kengo, Black Flash, Art of War, Everlasting Flame | Immortal, Adaptation, Robust, Peerless Constitution | Gear Master, Soulfeed, Font of Inspiration, Explosive Fortune, Peerless Commander |
| A | Maximum Firepower, Perfect Soul, Tyrant's Stare, Flame Rhapsody, Wind Rhapsody | Unparalleled Strength, Eviscerate, Peerless Focus, Carnifex, Warchief, Mutilate, Sanctified, Warrior | Aegis, Invincible, Unbreakable, Stalwart Durability, Safeguard | Exhumation, Adrenaline, Munitions Expert, Courage Catalyst, Unwavering Belief |
| B | Indefatigable, Resilient, Solo | Forceful, Mangle, Blessed, Lightweight, Reckless Abandon, Flawed Release, Butcher | Tough, Hardy, Unyielding, Heightened Vitality, Font of Vitality | Fully Stocked, Experimental Shells, Trauma Battery, Siphoning, Gear Expert, Sixth Sense, Gear Intermediate |
| C | Enhanced Metabolism, Critical Hunter | Mighty, Cripple, Lucky, Hollow | Enduring, Fortitude, Protection | First Aid, Gear Beginner |
Three S-tier Core perks stand out. Perfect Form raises ODM and Titan Shifter damage and lets you deal maximum damage at reduced movement speeds, so it works for either style. Heavenly Restriction adds large ODM and Shifter stat boosts, damage resistance, and a chance to instantly kill Titans. Founder's Blessing adds extra Shifts, faster Awakening, a larger aggro range, and Shifter stats, which makes it a natural fit for Titan builds.
In the other S-tier categories, Kengo adds strong damage and extra limb strikes, and Art of War boosts Shifter damage and M1 speed. Immortal combines health, damage reduction, and injury resistance, while Gear Master improves ODM and Titan control and speed. On the Support side, Font of Inspiration and Peerless Commander both improve Orders and Flares, the team tools that boost allies and mark Titans. Explosive Fortune helps your Thunder Spears last and can recover Spears on kills.
A-tier perks are more specialized, so they work best with the right Family, weapon, or Shifter. Tyrant's Stare converts critical chance and critical damage into ODM or Shifter damage, while Flame Rhapsody and Wind Rhapsody each trade one critical stat for the other. Update 5 also raised Maximum Firepower's bonus to all Thunder Spear stats, from 5-10% to 7.5-15%.
B-tier perks are useful when you don't have better options, and C-tier perks mainly help during early progression.
Where Divine Perks Can Be Equipped
Update 5 added Divine perks, and each one can only go in certain slots. Where you can equip one depends on the slot:
- Body slot: Accepts any Divine perk with no restrictions, and doesn't need a capstone.
- Offense, Defense, and Support slots: Each needs its matching capstone before it can equip Divine perks. Each capstone costs 20 skill points and sits at the end of its skill path.
- Family perk slots: Can't equip Divine perks. Shiki's extra Body slot is the one exception.
Update 5 Divine Perks and Cannon Perks: What They Do
Choose Divine perks by their effects and slot requirements. The ten Divine perks are:
- Mankind's Strongest (Body): Boosts Hook Speed and all ODM stats, and rewards you for keeping up your speed.
- Sanguine Destroyer (Body): Adds to your Thunder Spear count, boosts all Thunder Spear stats, and removes recoil when you fire spears.
- Avatar of Ymir (Body): Lets you shift at 60% Awakening Bar, adds maximum shifts, and boosts all Titan stats.
- Godforged (Offense): Boosts ODM and Thunder Spear damage and critical stats, and lets you hit more limbs at once.
- Stormwrath (Offense): Boosts skill cooldown reduction, Shifter damage, and punching speed, plus Titan stat boosts for 20 seconds after you shift.
- Eternal (Defense): Adds health and damage reduction, lowers injury chance, and lets you survive one killing blow for an Awakening Bar cost.
- Foresight (Defense): Ignores several injuries, escapes grabs automatically, and adds a chance to dodge.
- Branching Paths (Support): Party-wide bonuses that build with each kill, including damage, gas, and health, and shows the outlines of all Titans.
- Wings of Freedom (Support): Boosts ODM and Thunder Spear gas, speed, control, and range, and lets dashes pass through Titans.
- 15th Commander (Support): Boosts allies affected by your orders, halves order and flare cooldowns while making them stronger, and lets you use orders mid-air.
Update 5 also added two Offense perks built around cannons. Bombardier (Legendary) raises cannon damage by 15-25%, cannon area by 7.5-12.5%, and cuts cannon cooldown by 5-7.5%. Blitzkrieg (Mythic) pushes all three further, with damage up 25-40%, area up 12.5-20%, and cooldown reduced by 10-15%, and its cannon shots also inflict Burn on hit.
Best Artifacts for ODM and Titan Shifter Play
Artifacts give you bonus stats that stay active even when all Modifiers are enabled. Most artifacts come from Raids and achievements, but Feathered Bicorn can be bought in the Market for 3,499 Shards. Scarf and Feathered Bicorn lean toward ODM play, Crystal Necklace leans toward Titan Shifting, and Hoodie helps both.
- Scarf (Mythic): +40% Hook Speed, -20% Dash Cooldown, and -25% Rage Mode Bar usage.
- Feathered Bicorn (Mythic): +10% to all ODM stats, +15% Dash Cooldown Reduction, and 1.1x Order Effects.
- Hoodie (Legendary): +15% ODM and Titan Shifter Speed, and +10% Damage.
- Crystal Necklace (Mythic): +10% Damage, +10% Punching Speed, and +5% Critical Damage Effectiveness.
Scarf is the strongest pure ODM boost in this group, with a big hook speed increase and shorter dash cooldown. Crystal Necklace is the clearest Titan Shifter pick, with punching speed and critical damage bonuses. Hoodie's speed and damage bonuses apply to either style.
Titan Scars and Other A-Tier Artifacts
The four Scars are tied to a specific Titan: Attack, Armored, Female, and Colossal. Each one adds +15% to the stats of its matching Titan, +1 Maximum Shift, and 20% less Awakening Bar drain. Choose the Scar that matches the Titan you shift into most, since its stat bonus only helps that Titan.
They line up with the families built around the same Titan. Yeager pairs well with Attack Scars, Braun with Armored Scars, Leonhart with Female Scars, and Arlert with Colossal Scars.
The rest of A tier is more situational:
- Warrior's Armband (Mythic): +50 Health, +15% damage reduction, and +5% damage resistance.
- Scorched Cloak (Mythic): +5% Burn Damage on all attacks, 1.1x Burn Damage, and +5 Health Regen.
- Cloak (Legendary): +175m Aggro Range and +1 Maximum Shift.
- Rifle (Legendary): +1 Supply Station Reload and +10% Skill Cooldown Reduction.
- Lantern (Epic): A light source and +10% ODM Damage.
Lower Artifact Tiers: Handkerchief to Journal
B-tier artifacts are more situational, and their bonuses are small and specific. Use them when you don't have anything better.
- Handkerchief (Epic): +7.5% XP gain
- Crown (Legendary): +7.5% Luck
- Ring (Epic): +7.5% Female Titan damage
- Backpack (Epic): +1 Supply Station Reload (+3 in Raids)
- Sleeping Mask (Epic): +2.5 Health Regen
- Key (Epic): +7.5% Gold gain
Glasses, Goggles, and Journal sit in C tier. They're cosmetic collectibles and don't provide special stat bonuses, so they don't compete with the options above them.
