Every storage unit you win in Storage Hunters: Open World is a box of these: the game's full loot table, from junk-tier clutter to the exclusives that pay for the whole session. Values and rarities decide what you keep, what you sell, and which areas are worth the bidding war, which makes the item database the closest thing the game has to a price guide.

How items flow

Items come out of auctioned containers in each area, plus a shared pool that drops everywhere. Each area's loot table has its own value ceiling: early areas top out at modest sums while the later ones (Power Plant, Alien Invasion, Jurassic) hide the four-digit-and-up pulls. Rarity roughly tracks value, and exclusive or limited tags mark items whose sources are special.

Using values at the auction

Bidding is profitable exactly when a container's expected contents beat its price, so knowing an area's value spread is the actual skill. Two habits pay: learn your current area's top ten items so you recognize a jackpot mid-sort, and treat the shared all-areas pool as background noise since it follows you everywhere. Mutations multiply everything here, so a mutated version of any valuable item is the real lottery ticket.
