Bucket, Vacuum or Golden Vacuum for Carrying
The Bucket costs 100 Cash in the Tools tab and holds 3 potatoes. Each level adds one more, up to 7. The Vacuum costs 1,000 Cash and starts at 8, so the Bucket's top level sits one potato short of the Vacuum's base load.
Pick the Bucket when 1,000 Cash is out of reach. Head Chef, Fry Tycoon and Potato King start with a Vacuum, so skip its 1,000 Cash if you play one of them.
The Golden Vacuum Robux pass costs 147 Robux and holds up to 20 potatoes. It stays with you between runs, and 20 is more than double the base Vacuum's 8. Robux and Cash prices don't compare, so judge the pass by its permanent load, not by the price tag.
The street shop sells a separate Golden Vacuum for 9,800 Cash or 54 Gems. That's a different route from the pass.
Hand Peeling or Auto Peeler
In the kitchen tab, Bigger Peel's steps cost 12 and 36 Cash, and each stroke removes more skin. Peel Amount costs 100 Cash and takes you from 1 to 2 potatoes at a time while peeling is manual. Both Bigger Peel steps and Peel Amount total 148 Cash, under a third of the 500 Cash Auto Peeler.
If hand peeling is your slowest step and 500 Cash is out of reach, those manual upgrades are the cheap way to speed it up. Auto Peeler sits in the kitchen shop and replaces hand peeling, so once you can afford it, it's the bigger fix.
Which Machine to Buy When the Line Slows
The Conveyor costs 60 Cash, the cheapest machine here. You buy it at the prompt inside the kitchen, and it moves potatoes from the outside pile into the kitchen. Potato Robots (1,000 Cash) carry potatoes from the pile to the conveyor, and their upgrades are separate buys at the outdoor Upgrade pad.
- If each robot's load is the limit, buy Basket (about 660 Cash).
- If the robots are slow, buy Speed (about 1,320 Cash).
- If you need more hauling overall, Helpers (about 6,600 Cash) adds another robot.
If cooking is what's slowing you down, Auto Fryer (6,000 Cash) cooks peeled potatoes for you. If anomalies at the window are the problem, Fries Shooter (12,000 Cash) fires loaded fries at them to drive them back. It's the priciest machine here, and it sits at the service window.
Cash Boost or Permanent Gem Upgrades
Cash Boost multiplies every sale, and you buy it during a run. Its first level costs 1,000 Cash for x1.25, and its top level reaches x2. If sales are the slow part of a run, Cash Boost is the lever.
Gem upgrades at the hub station stay with you between runs, so they help every run after you buy them.
- Walk Speed (25 Gems) is the cheapest, and it shortens every trip.
- Money Multi (40 Gems) raises a multiplier from x1 to x1.2.
- Gem Bonus (50 Gems) raises the Gems you earn from each run, from x1 to x1.1, so it adds up over more runs.
- Lives (250 Gems) gives a run a second chance before it's lost. It's the buy for runs that keep ending early.
