Choosing Dog or Cow
Dog is the Gem purchase if you want a companion without spending Robux. Cow costs Robux and skips the delivery trip, so its collection loop does not depend on returning to the trough. Decide whether that difference is worth a paid purchase to you.
Cow's larger Grasp does not mean it earns a higher price for each piece of hay. Its base Hay Value bonus is +0%. Compare the way a pet works with the currency you want to spend, rather than treating one stat as a complete ranking.

Do you hatch Dog and Cow from eggs?
No. Dog and Cow are direct purchases at the lobby Pets barn. You do not need to roll an egg to get either pet.
Are pet hats separate from the pet purchase?
Yes. Pet cosmetics, such as Wizard Hat and Baseball Cap, are separate items. Buying Dog or Cow gives you the companion, not those hats.
