Match the boost to the job
Use Coins or Diamonds potions when that currency is your main target. Damage potions help your pets clear tougher breakables faster, and Treasure Hunter potions improve the chance of random item drops. Lucky Eggs potions improve luck for normal eggs, not exclusive eggs. Speed potions help both you and your pets move faster.
The Cocktail and The Cocktail II combine several farming boosts on one timer. They make the most sense when you are hatching normal eggs, breaking objects, and collecting rewards together. Save XP potions for a real target
XP potions give direct progress instead of starting a timed boost. The regular Huge, Titanic, Mastery, and Ultimate XP Potions give XP to their matching target. Their recipes use diamonds and other items, so the right choice depends on what you are actively leveling.
