Pets are the little companions that trail behind you while you fish and quietly stack extra luck, reel speed, or auto-catch on every cast. You equip one from Items → Pets, and the effect stays on as long as that pet is active. Most hatch from Robux eggs sold at the Pet Shop, one free Tabby Cat comes from Clara's Helping Hand quest, and the Ruby Dragon sits in its own paid bundle instead of an egg pool.
How to use this collection
Cards group pets by rarity. Each one lists hatch chance when a reliable rate is known, the durable source (quest, egg line, or bundle), and the full fishing effect. Empty hatch chance means the rate is not solid enough to publish, not that the pet is free.

Luck, reel speed, or both
Every pet leans into one of three jobs. Luck pets raise your odds at rarer fish. Reel-speed pets shorten the pull so you cast more often. Higher tiers often mix luck with auto-catch, a timed free catch that fires on its own with a short recharge after.
If you already stack luck on rods or bobbers, a reel-speed companion can feel better than another luck stack. If you are hunting secrets and rare fish, pure luck Epics like Frog or Tiger punch hard without auto-catch. Once you hit Legendary and above, the auto-catch loop is the real step up over the luck number alone.
How you actually get them
Clara runs the Pet Stores on Fisherman Island and next to the Sheriff's Office in Copper Canyon. Finish her Helping Hand quest (Salmon and Pet Collars) for the free Tabby Cat and unlock the Pets slot early. Robux eggs come in packs at those shops, with published pack prices around 109 / 327 / 545 Robux for 1 / 3 / 5 eggs.
Shop eggs rotate. Founders, Arctic, and Kawaii are origin lines for specific pets, not a promise that every egg stays on the shelf forever. Pets you already hatched keep their buffs. Cards list the egg or quest that introduced each pet so you can track origin without treating the shop as permanent stock.
Reading the rarity ladder
Rares only boost reel speed. Epics split into a high-luck line (+70% luck) and a stronger reel line (+30% reel speed). Legendaries add auto-catch every 65 seconds with modest luck. Mythics tighten that cycle to 35 seconds and raise luck. Secrets push luck highest and drop auto-catch into the 20s with short recharges.
Within the same tier, same-role pets often share the core buff. The differences that matter are origin egg, hatch chance (when published), and small recharge tweaks. Kawaii versions of Legendary and Mythic pets tend to recharge faster than their Founders or Arctic twins. Kitsune sits at the top of published hatch-pet luck and auto-catch speed. Ruby Dragon is the odd Secret out: flat luck, no auto-catch on published stats, and a bundle buy instead of a hatch roll.
Common mistakes
Do not treat a missing hatch percentage as a free roll. Arctic Egg pets leave chance blank because published rates do not cleanly sum, not because the hatch is guaranteed. Do not skip the free Tabby Cat just because the luck number is small; it costs no Robux and gets you into the pet system. And do not assume the egg currently in the shop is the only way a pet exists. Origin labels outlast shop rotations.
