Drill to Earth's Core is a Roblox game where you drive a drill deeper toward the planet's core, fighting enemies and looting dungeons along the way. Almost everything you pick up is an item, from the coal that fuels your drill to the weapons, armor and healing that keep you going. Each type has its own job, so knowing what it does helps you decide what to dig up, what to sell and what to hold onto.

Where Items Come From in Drill to Earth's Core
Most items come from three places: digging, dungeons and enemies. Ores and gems come from breaking open the rock as you drill down through each layer. Enemies are the other steady source, and corpses such as goblin bodies can be used as fuel or sold for Coins, so they're worth grabbing.
Coal and Fuel: Keeping the Drill Running
Coal is the main fuel, so pick up every piece you pass. Any combustible item can go into the drill's furnace to refuel it, and the drill then destroys the walls ahead. Most loot can be burned this way, but valuable items are better saved for selling, so you'll have to decide what goes in the furnace and what goes in your bag.
If the tank runs empty, the drill stops, and you have to refuel it by hand. The Clay boss wall, at 24 km, drains the drill's fuel to zero, so arrive with coal already on hand. Running dry at that wall can slow your whole team, so it pays to prepare before you reach it.
Ores, Gems and Bars: What to Mine
Coal shows up in the earliest layers, while heartgems sit much deeper. Iron and gold ore can be smelted into bars in a furnace, which is how you turn raw ore into something more useful. If you play the Miner class, collecting ores also levels up that class.
Selling Loot and Buying Gear at Rest Stops
Rest stops are safe spots where you get ready for the next stretch of digging. The shop there sells swords, armor, consumables and healing items. Each item has its own chance of being in stock, so what you want may not always be available.
The Trading Post buys loot, including scrap, and its upgrade menu sells drill upgrades. Coins are the money you earn during a run, while Cores are the lobby currency used to unlock classes. A good habit is to sell what you don't need first, then spend on the gear that covers your weakest spot.
Weapons, Armor, Pickaxes and Tools
Weapons come in melee and ranged types. Swords handle close fights, while guns let you hit enemies from farther away.
Armor is mostly about durability. Pickaxes get a damage boost from the Miner class, which is the one to pick if you rely on them. The Recruit class, by contrast, adds to melee and gun damage.
Your tools sit in the number keys 1 through 0. You use the one you've selected with the left mouse button.
Healing Items and Consumables
Healing items keep a run going when a fight turns against you. Bandages handle small hits, and the rest stop shop also sells healing supplies for tougher fights.
Consumables are the items you use up. Dynamite clears obstacles and enemies, so it's the one to reach for when something blocks your way. Since you use them up, keep a few on hand before heading back down.
Scrap, Crafting and Utility Modules
Scrap comes from converting items you don't need, which keeps them from taking up room in your bag.
Crazy Zack runs the Crafting Shack, where scrap is recycled into scrap points. Those points go toward utility modules that add vehicle functions, such as Autopilot, Sentries and Gem Refineries.
Dungeon Loot and Chests
Dungeons are packed with loot, and they also hold fuel pickups and enemies that can slow you down. Defeating a dungeon boss earns you several chests, so claim them before you move on. If you play the Lucky Looter class, chests can hold more items.
Relics, Relic Shards and Churches
Relic shards reroll passive bonuses. Churches are where you save gear. You can use them to hold onto the pieces you want to keep.
FAQ
What are mimic chests?
Mimic chests look like regular chests, but they have eyes and teeth. You can't kill one. Once it charges up, it explodes, so get out of its way before that happens.
What is the Void Crystal?
The Void Crystal is linked to the boss wall at 100 km, so that's where to look for one.
How do you sell items?
Aim your cursor at empty space and press F to pull the item out of your bag. Its value shows under its name while it's out, so you can check what it's worth. Then drag it onto the sell station with the left mouse button.
