Anime Squadron Wiki

Updated on (about 1 month ago)

Anime Squadron is a lane battler where you pull a roster of anime-inspired units, then send them down the lane to hold back waves of enemies and bosses. Gems pull new units from the banner, and once a match starts you spend Yen to drop them into position, where they fight on their own.

The depth is in the setup. Short-range units want the front, ranged ones do more from the back, and Traits rolled onto a unit can swing its numbers hard. You level and evolve your best units, build a squad that covers more than raw damage, and take it through Story, Raids, and the endless Infinite mode.

Equipment:

Anime Squadron equipment adds craftable stat ranges, set bonuses, and special effects to unit progression. The system starts with simple Rare gear and builds toward Mythic effects and the Secret Monarch Daggers awakening item.

Traits:

Anime Squadron traits are unit reroll bonuses that improve stats or add special passives. Spend Trait Shards carefully, because common buffs are easier to replace while chase traits can change a unit's role.

Units:

Anime Squadron units decide how your squad handles lanes, bosses, and farming. Compare roles before spending upgrades, because a balanced team needs carries, support, survival, and economy pieces.

Perks:

Perks are permanent account upgrades bought with Gold. Maximum Yen raises what you can hold, Yen Generation speeds up your income, and Base Health gives your base more room for mistakes. Most progression comes from balancing the Yen perks so your units can reach stronger upgrades sooner.

Awakenings:

Awakenings turn specific base units into stronger named forms. Each route needs Gold, a key item, and a set of shared materials from Story, Raid, Squadron, or Challenge content. Picking the target first helps you farm overlapping materials without wasting the rare pieces.

Materials:

Materials are the drops and key items used for awakenings and other progression crafts. Their routes span different modes, worlds, acts, and difficulties, with some items shared by several targets. Comparing the listed chances helps you pick a farm that your team can clear consistently.

Stages:

Stages are the routes where you progress, farm materials, and fight named bosses. Mode, world, and act identify the exact destination, while Raid, Squadron, Challenge, Event, and world-boss routes serve different reward goals. Check the full route before building a farm so a repeated boss name does not send you to the wrong encounter.

Anime Squadron Gameplay Tips

  • Build a squad around clear jobs. A strong team needs damage, support, survival, economy, and wave clear more than five random high-rarity units.
  • Upgrade a few reliable units before spreading resources everywhere. Story, bosses, raids, and longer waves feel smoother when your main carry and support slots are actually leveled.
  • Use traits on units you plan to keep. Trait Shards are better spent on a carry, tank, support, or economy unit that already fits your lineup.
  • Craft equipment for the unit's job. Damage gear, cooldown pieces, range boosts, and survival stats matter most when they match what that unit does in battle.
