Steal A Pet And Ride It has 20 zones split evenly across two worlds. Every zone has a recommended Speed except Mushroom Garden, the starting area, and the numbers climb from 4K in Honey Meadow to 126 SX in the Black Hole Zone, the last zone in the game. You play by sneaking up on sleeping bosses to steal their pet cages, so these numbers are really about how fast you can get home.

Why Each Zone in Steal A Pet And Ride It Asks for Speed
Each cage is guarded by a boss that's asleep. You sneak in, steal the cage, and run home before the boss wakes and catches you. Opening the cage at home is what gives you the pet.
Speed decides how that run goes. Faster movement makes the trip home safer, and riding a pet adds to your movement speed too. The recommended number for each zone is the Speed to aim for before you walk in, and the numbers rise as you move up the map.
Treat each number as the Speed to aim for before you go in. Walking in with less leaves you less room for error when a boss wakes, and that's the risk the number is there to help you avoid.
How the Speed Requirements Climb Through World 1
World 1 starts gently. Mushroom Garden has no recommended Speed, so new players can begin there and train without a target to chase. Honey Meadow is the first zone with a number, and the numbers climb fast from there, reaching 1 billion at Volcano.
Most steps in World 1 are roughly 4 to 15 times the zone before. The biggest jump is into Desert Pyramids, coming from Snowy Peaks, so plan for extra training when you get there. Outer Space closes out the first world, and the second world opens after it.
How to Unlock World 2 and Reach the Black Hole Zone
World 2 unlocks at 200 billion Speed. That's below the number Moon Base recommends, so Moon Base becomes your next target as soon as the new world opens.
From Moon Base onward, the steps get much larger. Each zone asks for roughly 8 to 40 times the one before it, and the biggest jump is into Toxic Planet.
World 2 also adds new bosses, so the rule stays the same: steal the cage and get home before the boss wakes. Learn the way out of each zone before you go in, since knowing your return route is part of the plan.
How to Build Enough Speed for Each Zone
Training on the treadmill is how you raise your Speed, so the rest of the work is about getting more out of each session. These tools work together:
- Train on the treadmill. This is how you raise your Speed.
- Upgrade the treadmill. Upgrades make each training session more effective, so the same time takes you further.
- Pay for upgrades with barn cash. Pets placed in your barn earn cash, and that cash covers treadmill and barn upgrades.
- Equip trails. Trails provide treadmill multipliers that increase the Speed you gain from each training step.
- Try talismans. They can improve your training speed, depending on which ones you equip.

Riding a pet works on a different part of the run. Training builds the Speed number a zone asks for, while riding makes you faster on the way home, so it's worth using both.
