Anime Horizon is a Roblox tower defense game where you place anime-inspired units to stop waves of enemies. Flame Hashira, Pop Star, Squad Leader, and The Strongest Creature hold the S tier, the top spot on the list. Several units have unconfirmed ability details, so treat their placements as tentative.

Why Flame Hashira Leads the Anime Horizon S Tier
Flame Hashira's damage comes mostly from burn, an effect that keeps hurting an enemy after his attack lands. Burn does most of the heavy lifting, so his damage builds over time rather than arriving in one hit.
The more enemies he burns, the more his damage bonuses and Rengoku Stacks grow. Burn kills within his range let him grant nearby units burn damage over time.
His burst ability, Ninth Form, hits every enemy in range. It uses up his stacks, though, so firing it the moment it's ready can waste the bonus he has built. Waiting until enemies bunch together, or until his stacks are high, gets more out of that one use.
Pop Star and Squad Leader: S-Tier Auras for Magical and Physical Teams
Pop Star and Squad Leader are both S-tier support units, and both work through auras. An aura buffs allies standing in its range, so the units placed nearby hit harder. Pop Star's aura covers magical units, while Squad Leader's covers physical units.
Both auras grow with upgrades and top out at +25% damage and +40% weakness resistance for the units they reach. Their value depends on the units around them, so the buffs only pay off when your damage dealers stand inside the aura.
SSJ3 Karakot and Whitemustache in the A Tier
SSJ3 Karakot is a Mythical Light unit that targets ground enemies with line-shaped attacks. Its strength is a burst window, a short stretch when it deals far more damage than usual. Make sure enemies are in range when that window opens, since that's when it hits hardest.
Whitemustache (Bisento) is a Mythical Water unit that uses line-shaped attacks. Its hybrid targeting covers both ground and air enemies.
The other five A-tier units, Zora (Triple), Ichago (Final), Emperor Shanks, Demon Tanjaro, and Byakya (Leg), are all Mythical. Their elements and ability details are unconfirmed, so there's no clear way to judge how they'd fit a team. Test them before building around any of them.
Koy Mostang and David in the Anime Horizon B Tier
Koy Mostang is a Legendary Fire unit that targets ground enemies and is classed as magical. It gives reliable access to burn, though its strongest burst needs 100 eliminations.
David is an Exclusive Light unit that targets ground enemies and is classed as magical. David is a self-buffing magical attacker, and from Upgrade 3, reaching 100% Cyberware triggers a blast that deals 150% damage in an area around David.
Zenku, Noroto, and Bulma also sit in B tier, and Bokai is the only C-tier unit. Their ability details are unconfirmed, which limits how confidently they can be compared.
Team Tradeoffs for an Anime Horizon Lineup
Every strong pick asks for something in return. Weigh these tradeoffs before you commit to a full lineup:
- Pick the support that matches your damage. Pop Star's aura helps magical lineups, such as ones built around Koy Mostang and David. Squad Leader's aura helps physical lineups, but magical units miss out on his buffs, so he's a poor fit for a magical-heavy team.
- Allow time for kill-based bonuses. Koy Mostang needs 100 eliminations before his next 3–5 attacks gain 230% bonus damage.
- Use a hybrid unit when you're unsure. Whitemustache (Bisento) fits into more setups, so it's the safer middle ground while your lineup takes shape.
- Test units with unconfirmed abilities before building around them. That covers Zora (Triple), Ichago (Final), Emperor Shanks, Demon Tanjaro, Byakya (Leg), Zenku, Noroto, Bulma, and Bokai. The Strongest Creature also holds S tier, so test him before you rely on him.
