The Roblox Innovation Awards 2026 voting hub is live inside The Block, and it's handing out six free UGC items (that's user-made cosmetics and gear) just for showing up and poking around. The hub opened July 29, 2026 and stays open through August 11, 2026, so there's an actual deadline this time. Here's exactly what to do for each item.

Four of these barely take any effort. Here's how to grab each one.
RIA 2026 Welcome Cap: Just load into [RIA26] The Block. The badge and the cap land in your inventory the second you spawn in, no voting or exploring needed.
RIA 2026 World Builder Hammer: You'll need to vote in all 19 award categories to earn this one.
- From spawn, walk toward the large Roblox icon and step into the portal beside it.
- Vote for your pick in whichever category is showing.
- Use the arrows to move to the next category.
- Keep going until you've voted through all 19.
RIA 2026 VFX Staff of Wizardry: This one's a quick trip through a portal.
- Look for one of the nominated-game portals on either side of the hub.
- Step onto a portal to load into that experience.
- Leave whenever you're ready and head back to The Block.
- Landing back in the hub unlocks the staff along with the RIA 2026 Interdimensional Travel badge.
RIA 2026 Aura of Re-Animation: Tap the camera icon on the right side of your screen and snap one screenshot inside the hub. That single photo unlocks the aura right away, no photo booth required this year.
If you remember past Innovation Awards events, this one's a lot friendlier. RIA 2024 ran on a points and prediction system, and RIA 2025 had you hunting shards to piece together five items.
RIA 2026 just gives you one clear action per reward, so none of this should take more than a few minutes. Roblox ran a similar swap of a task for an item during the Halloween Spotlight event: show up, do the thing, keep the item.
Where to find all 7 hidden cubes and finish the secret obby
The last two rewards take a little more legwork. The Programmer's Scrolls needs all seven hidden cubes, and the Musical Mindset Aura comes from finishing a hidden obstacle course (an "obby," Roblox slang for obstacle course) built into the edge of the map. There's no set order for the cubes, so grab whichever one you spot first.
- From spawn, turn left and keep walking. A cube floats above the second obby platform you reach.
- Stay on that left route through the obstacles. At the first fork, there's another cube waiting.
- Head back a bit, then cut right toward the middle of the lobby. Follow that obby up to a cube near the top center of the map, right where the secret obby also finishes.
- From the big Roblox icon, turn right this time and stick to the obby path. A cube sits at the very end of it.
- Take the left obstacle path from there, and you'll spot another cube on the way back toward spawn.
- Check behind the small speaker at the right edge of the lobby.
- The last cube is close to spawn too. Look left and duck behind the large speaker.
Grabbing all seven unlocks the RIA 2026 Techno Seeker badge and the Programmer's Scrolls. You'll likely stumble onto the hidden obby while hunting for those cubes, since it's tucked along the same edge of the hub. Follow the jumps and branching paths to the end, and finishing it awards the RIA 2026 Obby Master badge along with the Musical Mindset Aura.
This kind of one-and-done cosmetic drop shows up elsewhere on Roblox too. It works a lot like how official UGC rewards work in Rivals, where finishing a specific task unlocks a cosmetic that sticks around long after the event ends.
All six items stay claimable right up until the hub closes on August 11, 2026. Roblox will announce the actual RIA 2026 winners later, on September 12 during RDC 2026, but you don't need to wait around for that. Get in, do the tasks, and the items are yours for good.
