If the Solaris Egg announcement appears in Ride a Pet, you need to move quickly across a large map instead of searching random corners. The Solaris Egg is an Ethereal-rarity egg added with the Mutations update, and the currently documented route leads to four areas: the Cave, Giant Tree, Grey Mountain, and Desert.
This guide shows where to start in each area and the easy-to-miss spots to check after the announcement.
How to Start Looking for the Solaris Egg in Ride a Pet
Watch for the on-screen announcement that an Ethereal egg has spawned. You can also interact with Eggo to check whether the Solaris Egg is still active before you commit to a longer search.
Equip the fastest suitable pet you have before you travel. A fast or flying pet makes the Giant Tree and Grey Mountain checks easier, but a specific pet is not required. Once you reach a location, scan every subspot below before moving to the next area. If one spot is empty, another player may have claimed the egg already.
Which Radar Tracks the Solaris Egg in Ride a Pet?
The Eternal Radar in the Gears Shop tracks Ethereal eggs, including the Solaris Egg. It is a useful shortcut when it is available, but it is not a mandatory prerequisite for this route. You can still search the four documented areas manually. See the Eternal Radar details if you want to check the tracker before the next announcement.

Where Are the Solaris Egg Spawn Locations in Ride a Pet?
These are the four areas currently documented for the Solaris Egg. Use the first landmark to reach each region, then follow the last column so you do not stop after checking only the most obvious surface.
| Area | Start at | Continue checking |
|---|---|---|
| Cave | The Cave behind the large waterfall | Crystals, raised platforms, far corners, and the cliffs outside the large opening |
| Giant Tree | The top of the Giant Tree | The cabin or small top room and the upper branches |
| Grey Mountain | The stream beyond the waterfall route | The mountain edge and the first opening after the stream ends |
| Desert | The Pyramid | The small pond beside it and the interior area beyond the pond |
Solaris Egg Cave Spawn Location in Ride a Pet
Go to the Cave behind the large waterfall. Inside, check behind the crystals, both raised platforms, and the far corners. The egg can be easy to miss if you only look at the central path.

If the Cave is empty, leave through the large opening and scan the cliffs outside on both sides. Clear this exterior check before you move on, since the Cave area includes more than its interior.
Solaris Egg Giant Tree Spawn Location in Ride a Pet
Reach the top of the Giant Tree and inspect the cabin or small top room first. Then check the upper branches around the top platform. A Phoenix or another fast flying pet can make this vertical search quicker, but you do not need one specific mount to check the area.

Solaris Egg Grey Mountain Spawn Location in Ride a Pet
Start at the Ranch and head toward the waterfall with the Cave behind it. Stay outside the Cave, follow the water upstream until you reach the end of the stream, and then trace the edge of the mountain. Take the first left or opening you find.

The Grey Mountain spot should be visible from a distance when you reach the opening. Check the base and the space around that entrance before leaving the area.
Solaris Egg Desert Spawn Location in Ride a Pet
Check inside the Desert Pyramid first. If the egg is not there, go to the small pond or pool beside the Pyramid, sometimes described as being to its right, and use it to enter the interior area beyond the Pyramid. Scan the inner corners before you leave.

Guides use different names for this pond-accessed section, including the Maze and Desert Temple. The pond entrance is the useful landmark, so follow that route rather than relying on one label.
If a documented area is empty, continue to the next one instead of assuming the announcement was wrong. The Solaris Egg search is competitive, so keeping your fastest pet equipped and sweeping the next area gives you the best chance to claim it before another player does.
