Mine Mosasaursit & Unlock Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge Roblox

Updated on January 30, 2026 (2 days ago)

Mining Mosasaursit in The Forge Roblox is tough but worth it. This rare Exotic Ore hides under a frozen lake in Frostspire Expanse, and you need a strong pickaxe and patience to get it. If you’ve been stuck trying to find Mosasaursit or wondering why it’s so hard to mine, here’s a clear guide to help you get it without wasting time.

Here’s how to mine Mosasaursit step by step

Mosasaursit only appears in Frostspire Expanse, also called The Peak or World 3. It’s hidden beneath a thick ice wall inside a frozen lake near where you find the Prismatic Pickaxe. But you can’t just use any pickaxe here. You need one with at least 320 mining strength to break the ice and reach the ore.

Step 1: get a pickaxe with 320+ mining strength

Pickaxes like the Frost Pickaxe (costs 1,000,000 Gold), Snow Pickaxe (750,000 Gold), or Void Pickaxe all have enough power to break the ice. If you don’t have enough Gold yet, focus on completing quests, fighting enemies, or using active The Forge codes to earn more.

Step 2: reach Frostspire Expanse and find the frozen lake

Go to Frostspire Expanse and head to the town’s edge where there’s a dock by a large frozen lake. From the dock, walk south then east along the path to a small fishing hole on the ice. This hole is your entrance to the underwater area.

Step 3: dive under the ice and mine the wall

Swim down through the fishing hole to the bottom of the lake. You’ll see a thick ice wall blocking your path. Use your pickaxe to hit the ice repeatedly. Mosasaursit has a 100% spawn chance at this iceberg, but the actual ore yield is very low. That means you’ll need to break the wall many times and grind for a while before you get the ore.

Tip: Using the Dwarf race or Miner Totem can speed up mining. Also, Goblin race gives shop discounts, and Demon race can bypass some ice blocks, making your grind easier.

Step 4: collect Mosasaursit and check its value

Once the ice cracks open, you’ll get Mosasaursit ore. It has a 7x multiplier and sells for about $135.25. This ore is special because it’s used to craft armor that increases your Vitality by 35% but lowers your Swiftness by 25%.

Step 5: unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe

After mining Mosasaursit, explore forward in the same area to find the Prismatic Pickaxe. It costs 2,000,000 Gold and requires 1 Mosasaursit to buy. This pickaxe has 650 mining strength, making it the best tool in the game for breaking tough ores and ice.

Mining Mosasaursit is grind-heavy. The ice wall won’t break quickly, so patience is key. If you want to speed things up, focus on upgrading your pickaxe and using helpful races or totems.

Mosasaursit is the newest Exotic Ore in The Forge and essential for crafting some of the strongest armor and weapons. Its unique health boost makes it a must-have for players who want to survive longer and perform better in battles.

Keep your pickaxe ready, dive under that frozen lake, and keep mining. With persistence, you’ll soon have Mosasaursit and the powerful Prismatic Pickaxe to take your game to the next level.
