Maize Stalk is not sold in the Seed Shop. Complete the Moon Quests in the Harvest Moon event, reach 14 cumulative points, and claim the seed from Stage 13 of the Moon Reward Track. Stage 13 is the reward position, while 14 is the points requirement, so you do not need to reach Stage 14.

Reach Stage 13 to claim the Maize Stalk Seed
The Harvest Moon quest stand shows three Moon Quests at a time. Each completed quest gives one point. Check the timer at the stand when the set changes, since that is the schedule to follow.
- Open the Harvest Moon quest stand. View the three active Moon Quests.
- Choose feasible objectives. Pick tasks you can finish with your current garden and inventory.
- Complete the quests. Finish each selected objective to earn its point.
- Turn in completed quests. Confirm that your point total increases on the Moon Reward Track.
- Claim the seed reward. Keep completing refreshed quest sets until the Maize Stalk Seed on Stage 13 becomes available, then collect it.
The reward is tied to the active Harvest Moon Part 4 track, so check that the track is available before starting your quest grind.
Plant Maize Stalk and check its reported stats
Equip the Maize Stalk Seed from your inventory and plant it in an open garden plot. After the first harvest, leave the plant in place so it can produce again instead of using another seed.
