Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 – Complete Crafting and New Content Guide

Updated on September 6, 2026 (about 2 hours ago)

Beanstalk Event 2026 Part 2 puts the next useful step above the clouds: grow the shared Beanstalk with Jack, climb it while it is active, and use the top-area crafting bench or Jill's Gold Cauldron. Update 1.66.0 launched Part 2 on September 5, 2026 with eight post-launch recipes, a new chest route, named plants and pets, and several quality-of-life changes.

Here is the complete route to the bench, every ingredient source, the exact timers and outputs, and the Gold Cauldron rewards for Grow a Garden. When checked, the Grow a Garden event page listed Part 2 from September 5 at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. PT) through September 12 at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT), but event timing can change.

What Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 adds

Part 2 expands the event around three practical goals: craft display items and utility rewards, turn Gold-mutated plants into Beanpod Chests, and keep growing the tree to improve your access. It also adds two Beanstalk variants. The available post-launch notes do not name those two variants, so this guide leaves them unnamed instead of guessing.

The named additions include the Elder Beanstalk, Harpvine, and Fableflower plants, plus the Sheep, Cloud Hound, and Chest Mimic pets. The crafting bench adds Lilypad Cluster and Brown Bouncy Mushroom to the named rewards, while returning OG items, pets, and seeds and Sheckle restocking expand the event shop. The sections below separate the route, the recipe shopping list, the chest odds, and the smaller changes so you can pursue the part you want.

How to reach the Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 crafting bench

The bench is only useful after you can reach the top of a fully grown Beanstalk. Jack's request determines how you contribute, and the requested trait refreshes every hour, so check his current prompt before you start farming crops.

  1. Check Jack's requested trait. The possible traits are Berry, Flower, Fruit, Leafy, Vegetable, Woody, Prickly, Stalky, and Tropical.
  2. Submit matching crops to Jack. The shared Beanstalk needs 900 contribution points to become fully grown. Each contribution starts a 15-minute personal contribution cooldown. The current information does not give points per crop, so use the shared meter rather than planning around an exact number of turn-ins.
  3. Climb during the active window. Once the tree reaches 900 points, it stays active for 20 minutes and permits up to five climb rewards. Climb promptly while the tree is available.
  4. Reach the top area. At the top, speak with the Giant at Goliath's Goods for the event shop and friendship-shop route. The crafting bench is in this same top area.
  5. Start a recipe. Interact with the bench, choose a recipe, select Craft, and submit every input and the listed Sheckle cost. Wait for the recipe's timer, then return to claim the finished output.

There is no separate recipe-unlock step listed for the current Part 2 table beyond finding and using the bench. If you cannot see a recipe, check the item list and event shops below before assuming another quest is required.

The top portal is a separate milestone. You need to help grow the Beanstalk seven times for portal access, but you can still climb a fully grown tree and collect rewards without that portal access. Twelve personal grows unlock the Skycastle Fence.

All current Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 crafting recipes

The post-launch Part 2 table lists eight recipes. Some pre-launch previews showed 11, but that is not the live recipe set used here. Skyroot Chest, Sprout Egg, and Willowberry Seed are intentionally excluded because the post-launch table does not list them, and no additional recipe names are inferred.

Beanpod Egg2 Beanstalk; 1 Sprout Seed Pack; 1 Uncommon Egg2,500,00030 minutes

The table is the shopping list and comparison point: four outputs are cosmetics, while the other rows give a pet mutation shard, a plant output, a crate, or an egg. After you submit a recipe, wait 15, 30, or 60 minutes, depending on the row, then use the bench's claim action to collect it.

How to get every Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 crafting ingredient

The inputs are spread across the Seed Shop, Pet Eggs shop, event shops, friendship levels, and reward containers. Use this list alongside the recipe table so you do not reach the bench with one hard-to-replace ingredient missing.

IngredientWhere to get it
BeanstalkBuy it from the Seed Shop. A current Beanstalk orb can also list it as a possible reward.
Sprout Seed PackGet it from Goliath's Goods, top-contributor rewards, or current Beanstalk orbs.
Sprout CrateGet it from Goliath's Goods or current Beanstalk orbs.
CoconutBuy it from the Seed Shop.
Flare MelonBuy it from the Giant's Friendship Shop after reaching friendship level 4.
Cleansing Pet ShardBuy it from the Gear Shop. It removes a pet mutation and has 10 uses.
Tree FrogHatch it from a Jungle Egg available through the Pet Eggs shop.
FableflowerGet a Fableflower Seed from a Beanpod Chest, then grow it for the recipe input.
NimbushBuy it from the Giant's Friendship Shop after reaching friendship level 5.
Flare DaisyFind it in a Sprout Seed Pack, Exotic Sprout Seed Pack, or Rainbow Sack.
MushroomBuy it from the Seed Shop.
GlowpodBuy it from the Giant's Friendship Shop after reaching friendship level 3.
Twist BerryBuy it from the main Beanstalk shop after three personal grows.
Uncommon EggBuy it from the Pet Eggs shop.

The main dependencies are worth planning around. Friendship-shop ingredients require the matching Giant level, Twist Berry requires three personal grows, and Fableflower sends you back to the Gold Cauldron because its seed comes from a Beanpod Chest. If you are building toward Lilypad Cluster, gather the Tree Frog and pack sources while you work on that chest route instead of treating the bench as the first step.

How to use Jill's Gold Cauldron in Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2

Green Beanpod Chest reward from the Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 Gold Cauldron

Jill's Gold Cauldron is at the top of the Beanstalk. Bring 30–75 KG of Gold-mutated plants and submit that weight range to fill the cauldron. When the requirement is accepted, it awards one Beanpod Chest.

After a successful fill, the cauldron has a three-minute cooldown before you can use it again. This is a separate reward route from the crafting bench: you submit Gold-mutated plant weight here, not one of the eight recipe input lists.

What is inside the Grow a Garden Beanpod Chest

The current chest table has six possible contents, split between three seeds and three pets. The displayed odds are:

ContentTypeChance
Fableflower SeedSeed35%
SheepPet35%
Harpvine SeedSeed14.5%
Cloud HoundPet14.5%
Elder Beanstalk SeedSeed0.5%
Chest MimicPet0.5%

The 0.5% Elder Beanstalk Seed and Chest Mimic results are the rare entries in the table, while Fableflower Seed and Sheep have the highest listed chances. A single chest does not guarantee a particular seed or pet, so use the odds to set expectations rather than treating one fill as a guaranteed unlock.

New Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2 plants, pets, cosmetics, and changes

Named plants and pets

The named plant additions are Elder Beanstalk, Harpvine, and Fableflower. The Beanpod Chest is the listed route for their new seed rewards, with the chest table showing the exact seed names and odds. Sheep, Cloud Hound, and Chest Mimic are the named new pets in that same reward pool.

The crafting bench adds Lilypad Cluster as a named plant output and Brown Bouncy Mushroom as a named cosmetic output. The other cosmetic recipes are Green Bean Memories, Bean Pool Table, and Bean Sprout Float Light, so you can distinguish the display rewards from the pet, crate, egg, and shard recipes in the table above.

Beanstalk variants, shop changes, and Jack progression

Part 2 also adds two more Beanstalk variants, but their names are not identified in the approved post-launch information. Returning OG items, pets, and seeds are part of the update, and the event shop includes Sheckle restocking.

Jack's progression improves the contribution cooldown as you level him. These are the total contribution-point thresholds for each level:

Jack levelTotal contribution points
Level 125
Level 275
Level 3175
Level 4300
Level 5450

The contribution cooldown starts at 15 minutes at Level 1 and drops to 10 minutes at Level 5. Points per crop are not listed, so track the total shown by the event rather than promising a fixed number of turn-ins.

Quality-of-life changes in Part 2

The update also reports practical fixes and interface improvements:

  • A clearer shovel prompt makes the tool interaction easier to read.
  • The Garden Guide's trait search is restored.
  • Bean Pod Nook now supports sitting.
  • Achievement issues are fixed.
  • Fixes cover the Beanstalk, Honey Garden, Trade World, plants, and pets.
  • Performance improvements make the event smoother to use.

If your goal is a bench craft, start with Jack's hourly trait request and use the 20-minute fully grown window to reach the top. If your goal is a Beanpod Chest, keep Gold-mutated plants ready for the 30–75 KG cauldron requirement and plan around its three-minute cooldown. The seven-grow portal milestone is a longer-term unlock, not a reason to skip a fully grown tree that you can already climb.

FAQ

Q.

How many recipes are currently in Grow a Garden Beanstalk Part 2?

The post-launch Part 2 table lists eight recipes. The older 11-recipe preview is not used here, so Skyroot Chest, Sprout Egg, and Willowberry Seed are not counted as current crafts.

Q.

Can I climb the Beanstalk before unlocking the top portal?

Yes. Portal access requires helping grow the Beanstalk seven times, but you can still climb a fully grown tree and collect rewards without portal access. Twelve personal grows unlock the Skycastle Fence.

Q.

How much Gold-mutated plant weight does Jill's Gold Cauldron need?

Submit 30–75 KG of Gold-mutated plants. A successful fill awards one Beanpod Chest, then the cauldron has a three-minute cooldown.
