Two puzzles stand between you and the central tree, and both have to be solved. Start with the instruments, which are spread around the layer. Play them in this order:

- Banjo
- Saxophone
- The bowed string instrument

Once the instruments are done, move on to the mirrors. Five of them sit around the Divine Seal, and each one has to be turned until it aims at the seal. Check all five before you move on, because one mirror off target stops progress. The instruments and mirrors together open the way to the central tree.

The rod has a charge meter above the fishing bar. Holding the fishing button fills it, and it fills faster during the day. It gains charge at 1.5x speed during the day and at 0.5x speed at night, so daytime is the better time to fish with it.
When the meter is full, the rod adds 9% progress to your catch and has a 40% chance to apply the Sunlit mutation. A Sunlit fish is worth 6.8x its normal value, and it's slowed by 50% for 3 seconds.
