How to Get Into the Halloween Dimension in Climb For Animals Eggs
You'll need to go in to earn Candy, so this is the first real step. The portal beside the Trails Shop is how you enter the Halloween Dimension, and it has a Speed check: you need at least 2,500,000 Speed before it lets you through.
How to Earn Candy and Buy the Egg at the Event Shop
You can't buy the egg until you have enough Candy, so earning comes first. Candy comes from defeating the Pumpkins and Gargoyles that guard eggs in the Halloween Dimension's zones, and you'll have to be inside to find them.
To fight them:
- Equip the Bat from your inventory.
- Click the screen to attack.
The Witch in the Witches Castle zone can also drop Candy. Once you have enough Candy, visit the Event Shop inside the Halloween Dimension and buy the egg there. This is the route for players who are already inside, since you're already in the right place to spend it.
How to Buy the Halloween Dimension Egg From the Event Menu
The quicker route doesn't need you inside the dimension at all. To use it:
- Click the Event button on your screen.
- Click Candy in the pop-up menu.
- Buy the Halloween Dimension Egg from the purchase menu that opens.
Clicking Candy doesn't teleport you anywhere, so you stay where you are. This route only helps once you already have the Candy, since you still have to earn it inside the dimension. The Candy option is only there while the Halloween update is running, so use it while the event is live.
Where to Hatch the Halloween Dimension Egg
Your purchase route doesn't change where the egg hatches. Like the game's other main-world eggs, it can only be hatched at your base, so if you bought it inside the Halloween Dimension, head back before you open it.
Each hatch gives one pet, picked from the five Halloween pets.
What the Halloween Dimension Egg Odds Mean for Your Hatches
Graveyard Dog and Vampire Bat together make up 72% of results, so those are the pets you'll see most. Scarecrow lands about one time in five, and Wraith shows up roughly once every 15 opens.
Pumpkin Hydra takes the most work. At 0.5%, you can expect one in about 200 opens, which averages out to around 50,000 Candy at 250 per egg.
Each open is a fresh roll, so a short run of bad luck says very little about the egg. If the Pumpkin Hydra is your goal, plan your Candy for the long haul.
