Clean the Moon has seven classes. Rookie is the free default, and the other six are one-time purchases. Five of them cost Gems, while Jack the Sweeper costs 1,000 Candy and is only available during Halloween. Each class is a playable role with its own perk, such as carrying more, moving faster, or earning more from each sale.

How Classes Work in Clean the Moon

You pick classes from the Classes menu in the lobby, so you set yours up before you head out to clean. Rookie is the default and has no ability, which makes it the starting point for everyone. Every other class brings its own perk, and each one is a single purchase, so you won't pay for it a second time.
How to Unlock a Class in Clean the Moon
Unlocking a class takes three steps:
- Go to the lobby and open the Classes menu.
- Choose the class you want and check the cost listed next to it.
- Pay that cost. Gem classes take Gems, and Jack the Sweeper takes Candy.
Because each price is shown before you buy, you can compare your options and see whether your Gems or Candy cover the one you're after.
Picking Your First Class Based on What Slows You Down
The right first class depends on the slowdown you notice most, so it's worth working out what's holding you back. Each class targets a different problem:
- Full tanks that send you back to sell too often: Hauler, which gives you more room to carry.
- A long walk to the Sell Pad: Sprinter, which moves you faster.
- Capacity and speed that already feel fine: Trader, which makes each sale pay more.
A class only helps with the problem its perk addresses. Hauler is the cheapest Gem class, but it only helps if full tanks are what's slowing you down. Matching the class to the slowdown you actually feel is a better way to choose than going by price alone.
What Scrubber and Foreman Change
Scrubber works on a different part of the job. Hauler and Sprinter help you carry and move, while Scrubber makes your tool clean one cell wider, so each pass covers more ground.
Foreman is the most expensive Gem class, and its bonus works differently from the rest. Its sell boost applies to the whole crew. Playing solo, that means only you get it, so it's worth less. In a filled server, the bonus reaches more cleaners, which makes Foreman a better pick when you play with friends.
Jack the Sweeper: The Halloween-Only Class
Jack the Sweeper is the only class you can't buy with Gems. It costs 1,000 Candy, and it can only be bought while its LIMITED tag is active during Halloween. Since that window is limited, check the Classes menu to see whether Jack is listed before you plan around it.
Jack is the one class that bundles several boosts together. It helps with selling, moving, and collecting Candy, and it adds a free Ghost Cleaning Drone every run. The Candy boost only applies once you own Jack, so it won't speed up saving for him.
