The strongest units in Anime Adventures are Snow Reaper (Final), Elyssia (Abyssal), Zombie (Risen), Chuuni (Delusion), Word Mage, and Violentine (Brutal Angel). Each one either deals strong damage or boosts the rest of your team. Anime Adventures is a Roblox game where you place units to hold off waves of enemies, so the best pick also depends on the mode you're playing and the units you already own.
| Tier | Units |
|---|---|
| S | Snow Reaper (Final), Elyssia (Abyssal), Zombie (Risen), Chuuni (Delusion), Word Mage, Violentine (Brutal Angel) |
| A | Captain God, Fishi (Obsession), Explosion Mage, Phoenix (Mythic Flames), Spider, Shadow Sorcerer (Ritual), Supreme Being (Sovereign), Switchblade (Deception), Vengeful Swordsman (Sky Reaver), Legendary Assassin (Prime) |
| B | Dark Mage, Illusionist, Rudo, Water Goddess, Iron Sentinel, Somber, Kansai |
| C | Troy Flame, Armored Crusader |
How the Anime Adventures Tier List Is Decided
A unit's tier takes in its damage, range, utility, upgrade requirements, and how well it performs across different modes. Crowd control, damage amplification, air coverage, and boss performance matter too, because a unit that does one of those jobs well can lift the whole team.
The game doesn't have an official tier ranking, so these tiers are a judgment call. S-tier units are the strongest all-around picks, while lower tiers usually need a specific team setup or have a clear limit.
A unit's value also shifts with the mode and the units around it. A unit that shines in one stage can be a weak pick in another, so treat the tiers as a starting point and adjust to the stage in front of you.
Best S-Tier Units in Anime Adventures
Each S-tier unit has a clear job, which is why it sits at the top.
- Snow Reaper (Final): She applies Chilled stacks to enemies, and six stacks freeze the target. That makes her a strong crowd control pick. Her full AoE Hybrid coverage can also hit air enemies, which helps when waves mix ground and flying enemies.

- Elyssia (Abyssal): She's a summoner who calls Abyssal Eels and Jellyfish. Her Wretch Communion passive summons an Eel after every five takedowns, and she can have up to three Eels at once, each lasting one minute. She's a good pick if you want a summoner that brings strong damage of her own.

- Zombie (Risen): He gains +25% damage and +10% range for every Zombie on the map. Once four Zombies are deployed, every summon on your team deals double damage. He works best alongside summoners like Elyssia, and he adds less in teams without them.
- Chuuni (Delusion): She increases the Magic damage enemies take by 50% per mark, with up to three marks at base. With the Unique trait, her Magic damage amplification can reach a 300% cap. She's a strong pick for Magic-focused teams and for boss fights.

- Word Mage: He reduces enemy elemental resistance by 10 at first, then by another 10 every three seconds, up to 80. The longer a fight runs, the more vulnerable enemies become to your whole team. Pick him when you want to boost your team as a whole rather than add another standalone attacker.
- Violentine (Brutal Angel): She summons the last enemy she damaged at 25% of its original health every five attacks, up to 10 summons. Her AoE attacks help her build those summons steadily, and she pairs well with Zombie in summon-focused teams. She's also easy to max out, which makes her a strong early pick.
Why Hill Placement Matters Against Soaring Enemies
Soaring enemies arrived in Update 21, and they change which units belong on your team. Only Hill and Hybrid units placed on a Hill can hit them. A Hybrid unit that isn't placed on a Hill can't hit a Soaring enemy at all.
Ground units can still hit flying enemies, but they deal 50% less damage to them and have no crowd control effects against them. That's why Hill and Hybrid units are worth more than ground units in stages with Soaring enemies. If a stage has them, a unit that can't reach them leaves a gap in your team.
Several units can handle Soaring enemies. Water Goddess can hit them, and Phoenix can too when placed on a Hill. Captain God is also a strong answer to Soaring enemies, and Dark Mage is a Hybrid unit, so it can reach them from a Hill.
Elyssia can't hit Soaring enemies at all, so pair her with a Hill or Hybrid unit. Fused Hero still has some of the highest DPS numbers in the game, but he struggles against Soaring enemies.
Best Anime Adventures Units by Role: Damage and Support
The overall tiers weigh everything together. If you need one specific job filled, role picks are easier to work from, and a unit that sits lower overall can still be a top pick for its role.
- Damage (DPS): Elyssia (Abyssal), Explosion Mage (Archdemon), Sky God (Rumble), Shinobi (Eternal), Fused Hero, Illusionist (Transcended), Captain God, Dark Mage (Fallen Star), Legendary Assassin (Prime), Fishi (Obsession), Supreme Being (Sovereign), Switchblade (Deception), Spider (Immolation), Violentine (Brutal Angel), and Griffin (Ascension).
- Support and buffers: Snow Reaper (Final), Water Goddess, Phoenix (Mythic Flames), Idol (Star), Chuuni (Delusion), Griffin, Commander, Operator (ROOM), Bloodcry (Fallen), Elfy (Sylph), Zombie (Risen), Gambler (Jackpot), Shadow Sorcerer (Ritual), Shadowgirl (Time Traveller), Toad Sensei (Toad Sage), and Wind Dragon.
Some of these picks need a little context. Shinobi (Eternal) climbs quickly with Phoenix's Burn buffs. Illusionist (Transcended) still delivers strong instant kills, but it's expensive and only affordable in longer stages. Legendary Assassin (Prime) is top-tier ground damage once his passive is maxed.
Water Goddess buffs Water units like Elyssia and Fishi. Commander, Elfy (Sylph), and Wind Dragon show a mark when their buff is active, so you can see it working. Operator (ROOM) stalls enemies with backward teleports that scale with range, and Bloodcry (Fallen) massively buffs Bleed units.
