Modora is a Secret unit based on Madara Uchiha, and you earn it through the Hidden Sand Ghost Trials rather than a normal banner pull. The route is straightforward: craft Ghost Gunbai, clear Trial I, use the Key of the Ghost, then clear Trial II. After that, five material types unlock the evolved form, Madara (Edo Tensei).
If you are still working through the basics, the Anime Origins beginner's guide covers the early progression before you spend time in the Ghost Trials.

What Modora is and how to get it

Follow this route from the lobby:
- Craft Ghost Gunbai. Talk to the lobby Crafting NPC and use 1 Gunbai Staff, 1 Gunbai Base, 1 Gunbai Bandage, and 9,500 Coins. The three Gunbai parts come from Artifact content.
- Enter Trial I. Use Ghost Gunbai from your inventory to enter Hidden Sand Ghost's Trial.
- Clear 15 waves. Finish Trial I to receive Gems, Gold, Ramen, and the Key of the Ghost.
- Enter Trial II. Use the Key of the Ghost from your inventory to enter Hidden Sand Ghost's Trial II.
- Claim Modora. Clear Trial II's 15 waves. The reward includes Modora, the Ghost of War Title, Trait Rerolls, Gems, Gold, and additional rewards.
Both trials have 15 waves, so treat the final wave as a boss check rather than a victory lap. Keep enough damage ready to finish the run instead of spending everything early and watching the last enemy take a leisurely stroll.
For trait planning after Trial II, the Anime Origins traits guide explains rerolls. Immortal is the recommended trait for this build, but your final choice can follow the rest of your team.
How to evolve Modora

Open Modora's Evolve screen and gather all five requirements:
| Material | Needed | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Azure Remnant | 18 | Challenges or the Merchant for Coins |
| Violet Remnant | 11 | Challenges or the Merchant for Coins |
| Radiant Remnant | 5 | Challenges or the Merchant for Coins |
| Prismatic Remnant | 2 | Challenges or the Merchant for Coins |
| Rinnegan | 1 | Sand 4 Artifacts |
The Remnant families are available through Challenges and the Merchant for Coins. Rinnegan comes from Sand 4 Artifacts. The documented route does not give a drop rate or a more specific Artifact stage. Use the Evolve screen as the final check if an update changes a count.
The evolved unit is written here as Madara (Edo Tensei). You may see variant spellings such as Modoro or Madaro elsewhere.
Madara (Edo Tensei) can also be pushed through five Ascension levels. The Anime Origins Ascension guide covers that separate upgrade path without sending you back through the Ghost Trials.
How to use the evolved form

Madara (Edo Tensei) is a high-damage unit with value against bosses and late waves. Its kit becomes more useful as a fight gets crowded or takes longer:
Heaven's Pressure triggers a Sosano Blade every five attacks. The delayed slam deals 75% damage in an area and applies Calamity for 6 seconds.
Sosano Time starts at 20 seconds and gains time from defeated enemies, up to 180 seconds. That gives the unit more room to keep its effects running during a long stage.
Sosano Ribcage gives a 50% chance to block incoming debuffs or crowd control, then grants 3 seconds of immunity. It is useful when a boss can interrupt your setup.
Heaven Splitter deals 500% damage and can reach up to triple its range. Use it for burst damage when a boss or dense late wave needs to disappear before it becomes a problem.
That gives you the full path: craft Ghost Gunbai, clear both trials, gather the Remnants and Rinnegan, then use Madara's area damage, burst, and protection to handle harder waves. The unit asks for a little farming and a lot of waves, which is a very tower-defense way to earn it.
