How to Unlock Sweets and Snacks in Supermarket Together

You don't start with Sweets and Snacks, so the first step is unlocking them. You do that on the Franchise Board, using the Franchise Points you own to unlock a line by clicking its icon. You earn those points by gaining XP, which comes from selling products and placing things like shelves.

Sweets and Snacks I needs Basic Products IV first. After that, II needs I, III needs II, and IV needs III, so the early tiers open in order. Tier VI needs tier V, and tier VII needs tier VI.

The early tiers cover cookies, chips, chocolate, spreads, jams, biscuits, cakes and honey, with a few ice creams mixed in. Tiers V and VI are all ice cream, and tier VII is all nuts and dried fruit.

How to Order Sweets and Snacks from the Manager Blackboard

Once a tier is unlocked, you buy its products on the Manager Blackboard in the Manager Room. Open Product Order, select a product, and click + to add it to your shopping list. Products are bought at market price, so you pay the going rate when you order.

To save time, the single + button under a group adds one pack of every product in that group to your list. That is handy when a whole group is running low.

The coloured icons show how much of each product sits in each place. Red means it's on the Product Shelves, green means it's in your warehouse, and yellow means it's still outside at the barriers. Checking those colours tells you at a glance whether a product needs restocking or whether boxes just need to be brought inside.

How to Stock Sweets and Snacks on Product Shelves

Deliveries land outside at the barriers next to the street. Pick up a box with a left-click, then carry it to the display it belongs to or into the warehouse for storage. Each box shows the container it needs, such as a Product Shelf or a Freezer, so you know where it goes before you move it.

Most Sweets and Snacks go on Product Shelves. A shelf has four spaces, each holding a different product, so one shelf can carry several different treats at once. To fill a space, take a box with products in it, choose the spot on the shelf, and left-click, holding the click to go faster. To clear a space, take an empty box and right-click.

A box rarely fits a space exactly. Some products need more than one box to fill a space, while others leave extra stock sitting in the box. Keeping that in mind helps you plan how much to order.

Which Sweets and Snacks Need a Freezer

Ice cream can't go on a Product Shelf, so it needs a Freezer instead. A Freezer holds two different items. A store has to buy freezers before the ice cream tiers are useful, so plan for them early.

A few products from the early tiers also go in freezers: Maxi Cone, Ice Cream Box and Premium Ice Cream. Keep them in mind when you plan how many freezers to buy.

You can choose between Deep Freezers and Standing Freezers. Deep Freezers hold more, which matters most when you want to store as much as possible. Standing Freezers make it easier to see when stock is running low, which matters if you'd rather avoid running out.

How to Price Sweets and Snacks to Make Money

The products on your shelves already come with prices, but you only make a profit when you set your own price above market price. Set it too high, though, and customers won't buy. Good pricing sits between those two points.

Market prices change every Thursday because of inflation, so check the prices of everything on your shelves each Thursday.

To set a price, use the Pricing Device from the Manager Room. Look at the product, scroll with the mouse until the price you want shows, and then left-click. Hold E to scroll faster, or use the numpad if you have one.

What to Do with Extra Sweets and Snacks Stock

Sometimes a box still holds stock after its shelf is full. Put that box on a storage shelf in your warehouse with a left-click, and it waits there until you have room. Storage shelves remember the last product placed on them, so keep that in mind when you switch products.
