Supermarket Together puts you in charge of a grocery store that you build, stock and staff yourself. Whether you run it alone or with friends, each day follows the same cycle: you set up before opening, run the shop while customers shop, and close it out at the end. Once you understand that cycle, the rest of the game is much easier to follow.
Before you open, you arrange the shop and storage area with the Builder Menu, then place displays, set prices, order the products you have unlocked and assign your workers to jobs. This matters because a store with empty shelves, a blocked path or nobody on checkout falls apart as soon as customers walk in. Once the doors open, customers start emptying your shelves, so you keep them stocked, serve people at checkout and clean up spills. You also chase shoplifters, since cleaning keeps customers happier and catching thieves stops money from leaking away at the end of the day.
When the day ends, you close the shop so you can see how the business did, including your invoices. Then you spend the Franchise Points you earned on the Franchise Board, and you put the day's earnings toward upgrades before the next day. Franchise Points come from running a successful supermarket, so every good day feeds the next upgrade. Over time, the goal is a bigger store with more shop space, more storage and departments such as Manufacturing, plus a crew of employees you name and level up in seven roles.

Basic Products
Basic Products are the everyday groceries of a Supermarket Together store, from pasta, rice and water to sugar, flour, coffee and baking goods. You unlock them in tiers on the franchise board, order them from the Manager Blackboard, and stock them on Product Shelves, with margarine going in a fridge instead. Some tiers need other parts of the board unlocked first.
Sweets and Snacks
Sweets and Snacks are the food products you stock and sell in Supermarket Together, covering cookies, chips, chocolate, spreads, jams, biscuits, cakes, honey, ice cream and nuts. They unlock in tiers on the Franchise Board with Franchise Points, and you order them from the Manager Blackboard. Most go on Product Shelves, while ice cream and a few other products need freezers.
Produce
Produce items are the fruit and vegetable range in Supermarket Together, from apple and tomato trays to larger melons, pineapples and pumpkins. You unlock them in tiers on the Franchise Board, starting after Basic Products III, and order them from the Manager Blackboard. Every produce item goes on one of three produce shelves.
Supermarket Together gameplay tips
Set up a clear route before you open. Start with the basics: shelves, a checkout and a storage shelf, then place them so customers and workers can reach each one without squeezing past boxes. A cramped store looks fine while the shelves are still full, but it turns slow and messy once customers, boxes and employees all need the same space.
Check the stock counts before you order more. The product order screen shows how many of each item are on shelves, in the warehouse and outside at the barriers. If most of your stock is still outside, your problem is getting it inside, not customer demand, so buying more will only make the pile bigger.
Give each worker one clear job. Cashiers run checkout, restockers move stock from storage to the shelves, storage workers handle boxes, and security workers chase thieves. A worker on the wrong job leaves the real problem untouched, so match each person to the problem you have right now.
Keep a broom close and react when a shoplifter icon appears. Thieves are marked by an icon over their heads and run when they try to leave. Hit them with the broom right away so the stolen goods drop, then click those goods with the broom to get their price back. Waiting gives them more time to reach the exit with your stock.
Spend Franchise Points on what is slowing you down. If customers want more variety, unlock products. If your employees are the slow part of the store, look at their upgrades instead. A point that sits unused does not stock a shelf or speed up a worker, so check the Franchise Board every day.
Close the day before you quit. Use the red button on the wall of the Manager's Room to close the shop. Closing shows the daily statistics and saves your progress, so leaving before you close can lose that day's session. Before you close, restock the visible gaps and move boxes out of the paths so the next day starts clean.
