Produce items are the fruit and vegetable range in Supermarket Together, the game where you run your own store. You stock trays of apples, oranges, mangos, tomatoes and onions, along with larger items like melons, pineapples and pumpkins, and sell them to customers. The range opens up in tiers as you play, and each tier brings new items to order, stock and sell.

How to Unlock Produce Items

You unlock Produce in tiers on the Franchise Board, spending Franchise Points to open each one. The first tier, Produce I, needs Basic Products III to be unlocked first, and every tier after that needs the one before it. That means you can't jump straight to the bigger items, which arrive in tier IV, so you work through the range in order.

How to Order Produce and Get It on the Shelves

Once a tier is open, you order produce from the Manager Blackboard. Open the Product Order tab, pick a category, and click the plus sign next to an item to add it to your Shopping List. Products are bought at market price, and market prices change every Thursday, so what you pay can shift from week to week.

Orders don't appear on your shelves by themselves. Boxes arrive outside, next to the street at the barriers, and you carry them inside before placing the items on a produce shelf.

Produce Shelves: Where Your Produce Goes

Produce can't go on ordinary Product Shelves. Every item in this range needs a produce shelf, and there are three types to choose from: Produce Shelf A, Produce Shelf B and Produce Shelf B (half).

Because every produce item needs one of these shelves, it's worth making room for them before you unlock a new tier. That way you're ready when the first boxes arrive.

How Many Produce Items Fit in a Box and on a Shelf

Each produce item has two numbers that matter when you stock up: how many come in one box, and how many fit in one space on a produce shelf. Most items come 24 to a box and hold 12 per space, so one box fills about two spaces. The larger items, like the melons, pineapples and pumpkins in tier IV, work differently, since one box fills a single space.

On most produce shelves, filling all four spaces with the same item means the shelf holds four times what one space does. Knowing these numbers helps you order only as much as your shelves can take.

How do I check how much produce I have?

The Manager Blackboard uses three colors to show stock. Red means it's on your shelves, green means it's in your warehouse storage, and yellow means it's outside at the barriers waiting for you. Items inside a box you're holding don't show in the count until you let go of the box.

Can I order a whole category of produce at once?

Yes. Each category on the Product Order tab has its own plus button, which adds one pack of every product in that category to your Shopping List. That makes it quick to restock a whole group instead of adding items one by one.

How do I earn Franchise Points?

You earn them as your store's XP goes up. XP comes mainly from selling products, and placing certain things like shelves also adds to it.
