How to unlock and use crafting

Crafting is a target route for slimes that would be painful to chase by rolling alone. Each recipe belongs to an area in the zone route, while the Crafting Machine itself first comes into play around Heaven, Zone 7. That is why an early recipe such as Crafty can point to Cave, but you still need access to the machine before the craft is useful.

1. Unlock the Crafting Machine in the zone route.
2. Find the recipe tied to the area shown on the card.
3. Roll or collect the three required slimes.
4. Make sure those slimes are not needed for feeding, another craft, or inventory cleanup before you spend them.
5. Craft the result when the ingredient cost is worth the upgrade.

Why the ingredient list matters

A recipe only asks for three slimes, but those ingredients can be rare enough to be the real cost. SlimeSlimeSlime, for example, needs three SlimeSlime pulls, and Sweetie needs Melly as one of its ingredients. Before spending a slime, check whether it is needed for a later recipe or is hard enough to replace that you should wait for a duplicate.

What can block a craft

Power Fruits are the easiest caveat to miss. A slime with a Power Fruit attached cannot be used in the Crafting Machine, so keep fruit upgrades away from slimes you are saving as crafting ingredients. Crafting can also rarely return a mutated slime, but exact mutation odds are not listed, so plan around the normal crafted result first.

Area and Zone show where the recipe sits in the route. Result odds and Result rarity describe the crafted slime you get from the recipe. Required slimes lists the three named ingredients to save, and Ingredient odds shows how hard those slimes are to replace after the craft.
