Leader skins are alternate looks for the leaders in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, the free card game from Cygames. Each craft, the game's version of a class, has its own leader, and the goal of a match is to bring the enemy leader's defense down to zero. A leader skin changes how your leader looks, moves and sounds in battle, but it doesn't change how the match plays out. You can get them from exchange tickets, the Battle Pass and the shop.

What Comes in a Leader Skin Set
Players usually get a leader skin as part of a leader skin set. The set includes the skin itself, plus matching card sleeves, an emblem and a flair, so one trade gives you the full look for that leader.
Leader Skins Are Set Per Craft
Skins are chosen separately for each craft, so your Forestcraft leader can look different from your Swordcraft leader. A skin only appears when you play a deck of its craft, so it pays to collect skins for the crafts you play most.
How to Get Leader Skins From Exchange Tickets
Exchange tickets are the main way to get leader skins. They drop from card packs with a 0.06% chance, so it can take many packs before the ticket you want turns up. Each ticket is tied to one character, and most of them let you pick one of three sets for that character: the leader skin set, a card style and home screen background set, or a Visage Set for your avatar in Shadowverse Park.
Lucky Chest points give you another route. You earn one point for each pack you buy, and once enough points build up, the chest hands out a random ticket reward. Save a little longer instead, and you can choose the exact ticket you want.
How Long Exchange Tickets Last
Exchange tickets expire 180 days after you get them, so it pays to use them in time. If a ticket runs out before you trade it, the game exchanges it for a random set from that character's options, and you don't get to choose. Once you own all of a character's sets, that character's ticket stops dropping, and its chance goes to the other tickets. That way, your packs don't keep handing you sets you already have.
Other Ways to Get Leader Skins
Premium Battle Pass seasons have included leader skins as rewards, so it's worth checking what a season offers before you buy the pass. The shop sells several classic leaders from the original Shadowverse, each for 1,000 crystals, and you can buy them one at a time or as a bundle. Every craft also has a starting leader that's available from the beginning. Limited-time collaborations have given out leaders too, such as Aura, who came as a login reward during a New Year's campaign.
Should You Pick the Leader Skin Set?
When a ticket gives you the choice, the leader skin set is usually the better pick. Your leader is in every match, so the skin shows up every time you play. A card style set only shows when that card is in your deck, so it can go to waste if you take the card out. The leader skin also stays useful when the top decks change.
FAQ
What is the Visage Set in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond?
It's an avatar set for Shadowverse Park, and it comes with gestures that match the character it's based on. If you care more about your avatar's look than your leader's look in battle, it's the one to pick.
Are there limited-time leader skins?
Yes. Swimsuit skins, for example, are offered for a limited time only, so they're easy to miss if you don't check in while they're available.
