All 69 Scrap Items and Values in Lethal Company

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

Scrap items are the salvage you collect in Lethal Company. You and your crew search abandoned moons for junk and valuables, carry what you can back to the ship, and sell it to the Company for credits. Those credits pay for the equipment and upgrades you need for the next trip, so every piece you bring home counts.

How to Find and Carry Scrap

Scrap is spread through the old industrial facilities on each moon, sitting alongside traps and monsters. You search the rooms, pick up what you can, and bring it back before the ship leaves, since anything left on the moon is lost. Inventory space is the real limit, because you can hold four items at a time and each scrap item fills one of those slots. The fifth slot is for equipment, so it won't hold scrap.

A two-handed item fills a slot too, and while you hold one, you can't climb ladders or pick up anything else. Every item also adds weight, which slows you down and makes you easier for monsters to catch. A full load is always a trade-off between profit and safety.

How Scrap Value Works

Every scrap item has a minimum and a maximum value, and the game picks a number somewhere in that range. That means the same item can be worth more or less each time you find it, so treat any listed range as a guide rather than a fixed price. Timing matters too. The Company pays a share of an item's value that depends on how many days are left before the deadline. Early in a cycle that share is low, around 30 percent on the first day, and it rises until it reaches full value on the last day. Because of that, many players sell only what they need early and hold the rest until the final day.

How to Sell Scrap and Meet the Quota

You sell scrap at the Company building on Gordion, the Company's moon. Fly there from your ship's terminal, set your items on the outside counter, and ring the bell so the clerk takes them. Don't ring the bell over and over or make a lot of noise at the counter, because that can anger the Company and get you killed.

Those sales keep the run going. Every three-day cycle ends with a profit quota that your sales have to meet. If you clear it, the next cycle starts with a higher target, and if you miss it, the run ends.

Which Scrap Items Are Worth the Most

Cash registers, bee hives, and gold bars are the most valuable scrap in the game, and they're what most crews hope to find. Two-handed pieces also tend to be among the biggest earners, but they cost you mobility. The best finds are the ones you can actually carry back, so weigh each big item against how much it slows you down.

FAQ

Q.

What happens to my scrap if I die?

Scrap you're carrying drops where you die, so a teammate has to go back for it. Scrap you've set down on the ship is safer, since it survives a single teammate's death. It's only lost if every crew member dies and the ship leaves without them.

Q.

Do all moons have the same scrap?

No. Each moon holds a different amount of scrap, and what you find can be worth more or less depending on the moon. Moons also differ in which monsters they have, so the loot is only part of the picture.

Q.

Can scrap items be used for anything besides selling?

Yes, a few can. The Airhorn and Clown Horn let you make noise whenever you choose. Some noisy items can also draw monsters toward you, such as the Robot Toy, which can attract Eyeless Dogs.
