All 15 Store Equipment and Prices in Lethal Company

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

In Lethal Company, you're a new employee sent to abandoned moons to collect scrap, and store equipment is the set of tools you buy to make those trips work. You pay for them with the credits you earn on each trip. Knowing what each one is for helps you spend those first credits well, since you won't have enough to buy everything at once.

Gear and Weapons: What Store Equipment Does

The store equipment falls into two groups. Gear covers most of the list, including flashlights, walkie-talkies, and a Boombox that can draw monsters away with music, and it's mostly about seeing, moving, and staying in contact with your crew. Weapons are the Shovel, the Stun Grenade, and the Zap Gun, which you reach for when a monster gets too close.

The Shovel is the one built to hurt monsters, while the Stun Grenade and Zap Gun buy you time by stunning them. That difference matters in a fight, because a stun only gives you room to get away and it wears off.

How to Buy Store Equipment From the Ship Terminal

Open the ship's terminal and type STORE to see the list. Type the item's name and how many you want, such as flashlight 3, and the order goes through if you have enough credits.

Your credits come from selling scrap at the Company building, so what you can spend depends on what your crew brought back. Equipment stays on the list every day, while decorations rotate, so the tools you need are always there to buy.

Some items also go on sale at random, and the sales change every day. It's worth checking the store at the start of each day before you spend, since a sale can cut the price of a tool you'll use a lot.

How Store Equipment Gets to You on the Moon

Your purchase doesn't land in your hands. A drop pod carries it down to the moon where your ship is parked, and the pod plays a tune so you can find it in the field.

The pod doesn't wait around. It leaves after 30 seconds, whether or not you've collected everything, so head for it as soon as the tune starts.

If your ship is in orbit when you buy, the pod waits and lands on the next moon your crew visits instead.

Carrying Store Equipment: The Utility Slot and Belt Bag

You can only hold a few items at once, so where you keep your tools matters. Each player can carry four items, and a utility slot gives most purchased tools a spot of their own. The developers added it because holding tools in a scrap slot led most players to skip buying items altogether. The Shovel is the exception and doesn't go in that slot.

The Belt Bag is another way to handle extra gear. You wear it at your waist, and it holds up to 15 non-scrap items.

Which Store Equipment Matters Most

The Walkie-Talkie, Pro-Flashlight, and Shovel are the picks most worth buying early. Each player needs their own Walkie-Talkie to stay in touch when you're spread out, the Pro-Flashlight is brighter and lasts longer than the basic Flashlight, and the Shovel is your main way to fight back.

Credits are tight at the start, so cheap tools come first. The basic Flashlight is a fine buy if the Pro-Flashlight is out of reach for now, and the Zap Gun is the priciest weapon, so it usually comes later.

Situational and Risky Store Equipment

A few items only help in certain spots. Spray Paint marks places for your team but does nothing to monsters, and each can runs out. Weed Killer clears Vain Shroud weeds, which a Kidnapper Fox needs for its territory, and the Radar Booster gives the ship's monitor an extra point to watch and can be pinged to play a sound.

Some equipment can hurt you if you're careless. The Jetpack explodes if you fly too long, the Extension Ladder can crush you if it falls on you, and the Stun Grenade can injure you if you hold it too long.

The TZP-Inhalant trades a speed and stamina boost for drawbacks. The longer you use it, the stronger both the boost and the drawbacks get.

FAQ

Q.

Can you buy the same store equipment more than once?

Yes. Ship upgrades, decor, and suits can each be bought only once, but equipment can be bought again whenever you need it. That matters for Spray Paint, since each can runs out and you have to buy a fresh one.

Q.

Does the Zap Gun kill monsters?

No. It locks onto a monster and stuns it with electricity for as long as the beam stays on target, but it can't kill on its own. Some monsters are immune to it, so it won't stop every threat.
