Eggs and lucky blocks are the main way to get new Brainrots in Break a Brainrot Egg. You smash them with a hammer, and each one releases a random Brainrot, the character that earns you cash once it sits at your base. The game has several kinds, including rarity eggs, zone eggs, vault eggs, pet eggs, and lucky blocks you find in the field or buy with Robux. Knowing how each kind works helps you pick the right hammer and spend your time where it pays off.

How Eggs and Lucky Blocks Work
Most eggs and lucky blocks sit out in the field, and you break one by hitting it with your hammer until its health runs out. When it breaks, a random Brainrot appears right where it was. Pick it up, carry it back to your base in the lobby, and place it in a slot. From there it starts earning cash over time.
Hammers and Breaking Tough Eggs
Your hammer decides how fast you break things, and the game measures that as Power. Eggs and blocks show their health, so you can check whether your hammer can handle one before you commit. Breaking faster saves a lot of waiting, so it pays to upgrade before you chase the bigger eggs and blocks.
Rarity Eggs and What Their Labels Mean
Each lucky egg carries a rarity label, from Common up through Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Godly, Secret, OG and Divine. The label is a hint about what's inside, and a higher one raises your chances of a better Brainrot. It never locks in a tier, though, so even a Legendary egg can give you a lower one.
Health is a clue too, since tougher eggs usually hold better results, though not always. Common eggs are the starter table, so they're rarely worth going out of your way for.
Zone Eggs and Special Field Eggs
The field is split into zones. Zone 1 is free to enter, since you just walk across the starting line, and deeper zones raise the odds of rarer eggs. Zone 2 has its own gate, which you can open with cash or Robux, and its eggs include Emerald, Sapphire, Moonstone, Amethyst and Obsidian. Zone 3 has its own gate too, with the price shown in-game, and it holds Titan, Kraken, Yeti and Dragon eggs with much higher health.
Special field eggs are the ones with their own names and designs. Inferno is a good example, since it needs a hammer with real Power to crack.
Vault Eggs and Vault Keys
The vault is a separate area you enter with Vault Keys. Inside, you break vault eggs with your hammer, and each one spawns a Brainrot. Vault eggs come in types like Diamond Cosmic, Diamond Cursed, OG, Divine, Vine and Shrek, and some are far tougher than others.
Results from vault eggs swing a lot from one break to the next, so don't judge the vault by a single egg. Vault Keys aren't the same as egg keys, so check which key a vault asks for before you spend.
Cash Eggs and Pet Eggs
Cash eggs pay you cash instead of a Brainrot, so they're a direct way to get money from an egg. Pet eggs work differently. You don't smash them. You put one in an incubator and wait for the pet to hatch, and the pet gives you buffs like a speed boost and a short income boost. Each pet egg has its own price, paid with egg keys or Robux.
Field Lucky Blocks and Robux Lucky Blocks
Field lucky blocks work much like eggs. You find them out in the field, hit them until their health runs out, and take what comes out. Some show up at random, some spawn on a timer, and a few sit in fixed spots. Tougher blocks take longer to chip down.
Robux lucky blocks are different because you don't find them in the field. You buy them for Robux and open them at your base. Each one has a fixed Robux price shown in the shop, and it pays out once you open it.
Which Eggs and Lucky Blocks Are Worth Chasing
The game doesn't publish exact drop odds, so there's no sure pick. Zone eggs and vault eggs hold the most upside, and deeper zones bring rarer eggs. Premium Robux eggs and blocks can produce top-tier Brainrots too, but paying more never guarantees a result.
Rarer Brainrots pay more cash, but a lower-rarity one you've upgraded is still worth keeping. Keep your hammer strong enough to finish the eggs you go after, and don't stall on a tough egg you can't break in a reasonable time.
FAQ
Why did my egg disappear?
A hammer that's too weak for an egg's health can make it vanish instead of cracking open, and you lose the Brainrot inside.
Can one egg give two Brainrots?
Yes, some can. The Moonstone OG Egg is one example, and a single break from it can release two Brainrots.
Are Cash Eggs better than Brainrot eggs?
It depends on what you need. A Cash Egg pays you directly, while a Brainrot keeps earning cash once it's placed in a slot at your base.
Can I break eggs in a zone before I open its gate?
No. A zone's gate has to be opened first, and its eggs stay out of reach until then.
